As I watched today I thought how lucky Château de Purnon is to have you two as it’s caretakers. You both bring great skill sets to that role!
How wonderful that you are bringing beekeeping back to the chateau grounds. The bees will be happier and you will reap the benefits.
Loved this bee episode and how great to have your father and brother to guide you and keep the hive alive and hopefully healthy for many seasons❤🐝🐝🐝🦋
"WOW" when you showed the bees at work in slow motion, that was incredible. What a tremendous job you are doing keeping the bee tradition alive at Chateau de Purnon. What a great video. Love from N.Y.
How exciting for you to have your own bees and honey!! I am very glad that they were all healthy and well too. Very happy for you.
I’ve seen a number of other chateau channels dealing with bees this season, and at first I thought you were a bit late in the season to be dealing with them. Then realised it was a “full journey” episode, which is fantastic. The “story” and the production values in each video you put up are well worth the wait.
Did anyone else notice a bee dragging out another dead bee trying to throw it off the ledge at 18:39? Absolutely amazing! 😯😯😲
Thank you for pointing that out! How amazing and kinda sad!
That was amazing to see how they take care of their little environment! Thank you for pointing that out!
I noticed that too! I thought at first they were playing or wrestling then I noticed the healthy bee was having no part of the weak bee😳
I adore that you are keeping bees... and the way you called them the Queen and her Court just made my heart smile. ❤ Ive said it before but im so grateful that you're taking us along on your journey. Purnon is one of my happy places. 🐝
❤❤❤ THE BEES ARE A FABULOUS FIND... GOOD ON YOU ALL FOR RELOCATING THEM... THEY WILL WORK HARD AND PROVIDE YOU WITH THE NECTAR OF THE GODS. ENJOY...
Your dad is so sweet trying to not squish any of the bees.
I love how you're proceeding to bring life back into the chateau and grounds.
Thanks for your message. Bees have always been important in our family and here at Purnon. So it's wonderful to have them back here again and thriving.
what an interesting & great find for the future! keeping my fingers xxx-ed the bees will accept their new home 🤞and of course Purnon really needs a queen (beside yourself) 😊
thank you for being so bee friendly!
I have watched this episode before and forgot about you saving the bees.Thank you so much for being caring In lightened and intelligent harts.. bees are so important and we must look after them ..I just love you guys you have really made a big impression on me what fantastic people you guys are and your Australian.. love a sunburnt country a land of sweeping plans..you guys are the bomb ❤
Thank you for your message... gotta protect the bees!
Yay, you are bringing back the bees! I live by Savannah Bee Company headquarters and they do a lot around here to help the bees. They build special viewing boxes at the local elementary schools so that the kids can learn about the bees and appreciate them.
Another great day of saving the bees ❤ your dad is so cute he’s the real beekeeper
Včely jsou nejužitečnější tvorové této planety. Ze srdce děkuji že se o ně staráte a také velký dík všem včelařům. Děkuji
So nice to see those bees, I live in Ohio, USA, and when I was young there used to be so many honeybees on the white clover flowers I had to watch where I walked barefoot through the grass, and now I feel lucky to see even one.
Fascinating
What a beautiful recording, thank you 😊.
Congratulations on bringing back bees 🐝 to the chateau 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
It is a couple of months since we have seen what is going on with the restoration, hope it is all wonderful.
Great job with the bees. So glad that you will have hives on the property. They are incredible animals. Please make sure they have enough honey for the hive to over winter. Please don't ever start with feeding them sugar water.
Thank you for taking me on this bee adventure.
That was so fascinating
Interesting! And ironic that the chateau renovation channel "Escape to Rural France" had bees under his bathroom floor.
There where so many great close up shots and drone camera work !Just ads to the great overall content!
Glad you enjoyed it
Wow the beehives are so amazing ! so old ! the view of the sunflower fields ...just magical.
This was great - and beautifully presented.
Huge Bravo to saving the Hive. Keep building it. La Miel De Purnom a nice sound to it.
Love from your cousin Canada
So interesting, thank you
Quite interesting. Thanks for the mini lesson about the bees. Cheers-
Amazing vlog🐝🐝🐝🐝
Wonderful interesting video. Good luck with your bees.
by far the best restoration channel
Quite agree
This was delightful, thank you for posting.
Please let us know what they say about the slow to form caps?
Congrats on the bees
I enjoyed your video very much, Blessings.
Aussie FlowHive in France 💛
The old bee keeping baskets are stunning. They will look amazing in the corner a room or 2 or 3.
So happy for you !!! Quel beau présage pour la vie au château ! Et une vente de miel de Purnon bientôt ??? 😍😍😍
nous l'espérons !
Incredible ❤❤❤❤
Interesting video! Looking forward to Part Two!
Thank you for saving bees!
There is a real concern for pollination in the world and lots of people don’t care about importance of the bees!
Thank you again
Wonderful video. Thank you!
Great fun
That was a particularly exciting and educational video! Thanks for that!!!
We're thrilled you enjoyed it.
The Flow Hive is quite controversial among experienced beekeepers so it’s wise to do your due diligence before purchasing.
Very cool!
Wow, super interesting video! Loved it!
So interesting!
stunning!
Loved this!!
Love my bees
Good to see you have bees there
From the various items we've discovered around the chateau there has been a long history of bee keeping at Chateau de Purnon. We are thrilled to continue the tradition with our Flow Hive. Thanks for following our adventure!
@ those original cane beehives looked amazing
Keep up the great work
Thank you! Those amazing old bee hives from the 18th century were called skeps. They were made of straw and the bees formed curved honeycomb inside. Amazing pieces of history. Best wishes with your bees!
How wonderful that you have been able to bring beekeeping back to the chateau - well done - another step forward
How beautiful
Thx k you guys for taking care of the bees they are so important ❤
Very nice video. Can't wait for part two.
Very interesting vlog . 🐝
I hope your bees thrive! If they're so crowded, I'd think they'll divide to create another hive, soon - I hope you can catch that moment and offer the new hive a good home, too!
Wow, this was soooo cool!! Thank you for saving the bees and rehoming them around the chateau! I learned a lot of this, I had no idea those baskets were how they use to keep them. Those poor hives back in the day. Such a cool video!
That was very interesting, as usual. I was wondering how i was going to get my hands on a Flow hive when i move there, now i know, thanks for the heads up.
Flow Hives are available here in Europe which is fantastic to have this wonderful Aussie invented hive keeping our bees happy here! 🐝
Where did you find your Flow Hive? It's perfect! ❤️🙏
It's Australian.
@@bobbiejay2085 Does "Australia" make these for countries outside Australia? We have homes in France, Africa, Canada & America... ❤️🙏
@@LoireValleyChateaux suggest you Google them.
Congratulations on a successful bee move! They will be very happy in their new bee chateau. I wonder how long it will bee (haha 😉) until you get a second bee chateau, my friend in Narre Warren South has 3 now, she loves them so much!
Fanciest bee home I've ever seen and love the window.
A good stock of honey ,😊
There has always been a tradition of bee-keeping at Purnon. We have found bee keeping equipment dating back centuries. We wanted to continue the tradition!
What was the smoker for?
When bees sense danger, they release an alarm pheromone called isopentyl acetate from a gland near their stingers. This chemical wafts through the air and alerts other bees to be ready to attack. Smoking a beehive masks this pheromone, allowing the beekeeper to safely perform a hive inspection.
Who is the new bloke?
CHECK OUT THE JAPANESE BEE BIVE IT IS ALSO ONE OF A KIND ALSO..... CHECK IT OUT..
