Living well with a stoma | Online support event

On Wednesday 26 October 2022, we held a free information and support event on living well with a stoma. This event was delivered by Melissa Holland and Wynne Roberts.
Melissa, who is Lead Stoma Clinical Nurse Specialist at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust, gave an introduction to stomas, and what to expect with both temporary and permanent stomas. She also spoke about how to manage problems and gave practical tips to help you live well with a stoma.
Wynne, who volunteers for us in Wales, shared his personal experience of living with a stoma, and how he managed day-to-day life before his stoma reversal.
