    BJH, have always been my favourite Prog Rock Band of all time. So many brilliant songs over their 50 year history...And choosing favourite songs is like choosing amongst one's children. Yet, somehow this song PLAY TO THE WORLD always makes it to the top. There is something eternally sad, emotional & magical about it that I can never describe verbally. So, Les my friend this has to be one of the greatest songs ever written. BJH you are legends & giants of Rock!! Respect.

    Géniale version un peu différente de celle de l'album studio mais empreinte d'originalité

    Great performance! Didn't fancy the synth snare sound, though...

    It was a great version until the utterly terrible sax solo kicked in. I know the reasons for it but it would have been better to have dispensed with the sax altogther and use keyboards or just finish the song.

      En effet, le saxophone jure avec le reste, à se demander s'il a décidé de massacrer la chanson. Quelle était la raison ?

    • @robelliott9865
      @robelliott9865 Před 2 lety

      @@manoahduriec4013 he had to play the keyboards as well and didn't have enough time to get the saxaphone reed properly ready and "warmed up"

      Yeah, its simply not good. But also in the Keyboard part in the second verse the beautiful string variations are missing! The make it so much deeper and they always sound to me as if Wolstenhome still added them before he left the band
