It's a shame this band is still underrated, these guys are plucky and well inspired, they made a big effort to break the wall between the classical rock and new alternative scene which was going on. They keep issuing some great and praiseworthy tracks; they filled the blank because the lack of inspiration several artists demonstrated and the gloomy streams we had to bear at the end of the '90s were a kind a deadlock, we needed to be relieved and spellbound by some decent music. It was the request of a chunk of young people whose aim was the search of the perfection and the destruction of those worthless voices that had been overrated over the years. It's an outrage how the commercial music drives out the dedication and the faith of a few bands, this doesn't make them grow up and it basically binds the market, focusing mainly on the artists you grab on the Radio and getting aloof from that reciprocation of feeling between the listeners and the singer. We can't argue about this topic that much and I utterly praise the message a band gives and the themes developed around lyrics and whatnot. It's worth to reinvent the music and these guys propelled the sound over the boundaries, towards the pleasure of being a rock star and the pride of being addicted to an unbelievable rush of craziness, entirely.
I am kinda glad they are still underrated. Not saying they don’t deserve whatever that means but Rock n Roll has always belonged to the weirdos. The Cribs are one of ours. We also deserve perfect pop rock tunes.
WOW!! EXCELLENT TRANSLATION FROM AN ALREADY INCREDIBLE ACOUSTIC VERSION. NEED TO PROCESS WHAT JUST HAPPENED IN MY BRAIN BEFORE I PRESS THAT REPLAY BUTTON!!
When the Squier Venus was made Squier was their own independent guitar company but Fender bought them and started the Fender Squier guitars just as a cheap Fender really just to expand the market. Still wouldn't mind a Venus reissue
it's the guitar fender made for courtney love, Ryan's a friend of her's and I guess that's how he was introduced to it. not many were made and i'm pretty sure they're made to fender, not squier, production standards
