this whole video is like, kinda obvious. but until you actually see it in a video like you've made here, you don't realise it. thanks so much for making this, i needed to hear it and play like this and stop swinging
This is excellent, I use 1 jab a ton in this game, coming from T7 where it was a peak strat. However I think it's a little less effective in this game, there are just so many overtuned evasive moves that the opponent can throw out randomly and accidentally launch you for doing a high attack. You have to be mindful what character you're going up against and whether they use a lot of evasive moves to utilize jabbing to its full potential. Otherwise you can get blown up for 1 jabbing, which is kind of sad. Im kind of falling into the habit of using dickjab instead if I realize they never go for the parry/hopkick. It doesnt frametrap ob but evades even more stuff. Best thing is to mix up these two based on the opponents reactions imo.
9:54 I must say this video is coming at a time that I think I needed to hear and see last night I was on a massive losing streak with my boy Brian and like anyone who loses so much would probably do I started saying I was going to quit on Brian been playing him since seven and now I feel inspired to try again very much
8:17 well it’s not entirely true that you don’t have to respect Bryan if he doesn’t jab. Bryan has +frames after back one (I think +4) up forward 2 2 2 3 has a 13 frame startup. I use this frametrap all the time!
@yoelont4672 I'm assuming most people who watch 8 minutes of this know what a frame trap is, mostly just because I don't want to explain frame traps in every video.

What I’m trying to say is that you’ll get frame trapped if the Bryan player knows this frame trap and knows you’re gonna press

Great video as always. 🔥
Thanks for the video! Whats the name of the song? It sound like a previous tekken song.
It's whatever plays on the Tekken Tag 2 Jukebox preset for Ortiz Farm because I forgot to turn off my in game music before recording
