It might have been easier to understand if you were to introduce some real resistance to the circuit (other than the meter needle). Also worth repeating is that in order to do a voltage drop test, the circuit must be under a load. This might help some people understand better. Nice video, and thanks for posting.

I have a video where I introduce resistance and explain vrop testing on a vehicle.
The purpose of this video is more to explain that every measurement with a volt meter is a vdrop test, because it's measuring the difference between two points and not necessarily the voltage that is on the circuit.
