Hey, Mike I really enjoy your videos. I think your content is great. I’m an automotive mechanic and Im a beginner in the oscilloscope field. I’ve watched a lot of videos for picoscope and ATS scope and they are out of my range. I wanna purchase MT Pro 4.1 Oscilloscope, but before I wanna purchase it I wanna have more information about it. Anyway you can help me out to understand the scope and how to use it properly. I can see you’re very knowledgeable about it so I think you’re the right person to ask. When you are using MT Pro and backprobe fuel injector, do you have to use a attenuator? And when you check the secondary ignition system, do you have to use a attenuator or is the attenuator built in the scope? I went to Joes Auto Electric and he sold out the MT PRO. I wanna purchase a laptop, what do you recommend for the MT Pro? Joe also mentioned I have to download the software, MT Pro User Manual, can I download this on any device or does it have to be on laptop? Thank you, my name is Mobeen and my number 973-960-9487.

I would want to add a couple of more tools, the LISLE relay tester with a way to jump PWR & GND to the harness set-up in an attempt to activate a system based on what is missing during the initial testing phase. I will wait for the new videos before I make any useful remarks. You did not mention relays that are hidden inside of a module? I will assume there will be several more videos to come? With much more time into the future, a real world case study depending on the real world malfunction on a real vehicle will be very nice to see in action, all preplanned, prediagnosed and ready to test as fast as possible in a very short video to prove the point of how quick this tool can be in the real world since we should already know how to use this tool, understand its operations, and feedback once a bit of experience is gained. Most of us already know how to use the test light and jump power or ground to prove a fault the old-school way. Hopefully, with the old relay plugged into the LISLE tool, the amp draw might be measured by this nice tool on the screen to know if the relay has clicked audibly but no power passing the internal switch burned contacts, or constant power flowing through the burned stuck closed velcro contacts along with other possible relay malfunctions. I've been using this scope for over a year, the cylinder contribution is a great tool very similar to the USB Autoscope which is my favorite scope. MTPro scope is becoming my go to scope. I use the scripts quite a bit, this is an amazing scope. I rarely use my Pico anymore .

Before the heat shrink i try my best to remove the remaining flux from strands.

Awesome to see the comparison! I too think the price will go up. Phenomenal capabilities for under $500.

Very nice comparison. Glad this option exists. The pico scope is not several thousand dollars though, it’s 1500-1700 USD here in the states. The kits are several thousand, but not the stand alone scope. Still the MT is an incredible value!

I doubt I’ll ever get an MT pro but I’m glad it exists. The old “picos are too expensive” excuse doesn’t hold up when the MT pro offers this much value for $500

I got both those scopes. I am not allowed to use mt pro at work 😱

Can't wait for the next installment! My MT Pro is in Canada Posts "safe" hands (read:Who the hell knows where it is). Will be spending lots of time playing with it while watching your videos!
