Here's the video of my WSOP final table run. It's slightly different content than what I normally upload, a lot more raw, which is why it's on the second channel: czcams.com/video/jj2FYEMZmY0/video.html
could you do a video on gambling and taxes like how much of your winnings do you have to put towards taxes. Here in Arizona its 25% for winnings over $5,000 a year. This feels high to me.
@@aaronbrumbelow851 I just pay ordinary income taxes for poker winnings. We don't have state tax in NV.
Hey Brad, I been following you for a long time. I have to let you know something off topic. As you gain popularity, I noticed, you also attracted more spirits around you. I can identify them by looking at your background, look at the bottom left of the screen, notice the dense concentration of blurry darkness?
The more spirits you have, the more they can influence your decisions. They have the ability to mess with a persons feelings and thoughts.
The more spirits you have, the more they influence your decisions. Take it slow, sometimes those bluffs are them messing with your playing style. Some of the spirits also know what other players have because they can get close to the person and read their thoughts. So, they already know who got the winning hand and they can trigger the losing hand to bet into the pot. It is not magic, it is what it is, that is the ability spirits have on human....reading our thoughts and manipulating the way we think.
Do not let this information bother you, just slow down and pay attention to where random thoughts and ideas POP into your head. Identify those thoughts and pick the right one. It will take a lot of practice, but if you can identify these negative thoughts coming in during big hands, just go back to the basic and minimize those bluffs.
I hope this information will help you.
@@present3348 I disagree with your two sentences. Thank you for sharing.
@@7thHanumanWild thought there 7th. How can you possibly distinguish your thoughts from a spirit's thoughts? Seems unhinged
That you tipped the cashier despite the big loss says a lot about you, Brad, all of it good. 👊🏻
My thoughts exactly.
Darn I should not have read this spoiler, lol just kidding 😂
I had just given so much money to everyone else at the table, it only seemed fair that the cashier got some too.
@@BradOwenPoker I can send you my address!
why does the casheer need to be tipled?
Bruh that $8K river bet 😮💨😮💨 how do they let you in a casino when you gotta cart your giant nuts around in a wheelbarrel??
Thanks for posting these losses 👍 Fair play mate (from England)
That $8k bluff was a gangsta move , unfortunately he had the exact hand we were repping !
If all your vids are this watchable, then you nailed it man. The way you talked us thru your hands as they were being played, that's some seriously valuable and interesting content. Immersive...
Appreciate seeing the ups with the downs and not just the ups. You’re going places
So true
You're my favorite poker player of all time. Win or lose I will always watch.
Thanks a lot Steve
Just saying, if you want to make a big final table, liking Brad's videos worked for me.
congrats on the score, brother
@@nicklazzaro5055 Appreciate it! My 4th ever WSOP bullet lol
@@butcherandom Dang thats impressive, nice job!
What did you win?
Yeah bro I need details! What a story!
Love how you honestly & openly break it down whether good or bad results. I sensed a little bit of a tilt after the aces got smashed which I thought lead to the Hail Mary.
Keep up the good work Brad. Love your content. You’re helping this novice play better
Tough luck Brad. Love that you’re willing to show us your losses as well as your wins. We know you’ll get back on the winning side soon.
Am I ever going to watch a Brad Owen poker blog without him saying I’ve got an announcement to make 😂😂😂
No
no sir
Lol not going to happen
No you will not
Wouldn't you rather hear the updates?
I love watching you destroy opponents at the poker table, accompanied by your snarky commentary. But something I appreciate (and infinitely respect) even more, is your ability to be humble enough about huge losses to share them. It's a great character trait.
There’s nothing better than a lunch break and seeing Brad posted
I like it slightly better when you're on a lunch break and you see me win
If there is one thing that I'm learning from Brad's videos, is that patience is a virtue. There might be 30 minutes to an hour between good, playable hands. Play tight, and aggressive.
paying attention to the timestamps made a big difference in how i interpret these videos... still waiting for it to improve my game tho 😂
Looks like I’m watching a Brad Owen video for lunch today 😎
You are gonna be hungry if that’s all you having FOR lunch lol
@@kelvincabrera558I’m watching and eating haha
20-25 min vids are perfect for lunch
Thanks for the vlogs Brad, everytime you post it makes my day! You are the reason I got into poker and videos like this help to get through the emotions that come with playing poker
Hang in there Brad. Same swings just different amounts. Being able to start a wsop event after a long day that included a cash game loss and make the money is a great show of "zero tilt" and great focus. Nice Goin!!
What I like about your videos Brad is you show the good and the bad. Rough session, but I got a feeling it will swing back the other way
Yay! Brad is back with VLOGs for us to enjoy. Happy for your success at the WSOP tournaments by the way!
Much respect for sharing the bad along with the (more often) good. You're a gem, Brad.
I wish i had the courage to sit down in the poker room, it would be the first time ever for me. Alot of anxiety, but the thrill and amount of fun is why I watch this channel. Absolutely love the suited plays. Maybe one day in the near future. Kansas City area.
I felt the same way when I first started. It can be pretty intimidating to think about it, but if you go, you'll quickly learn that people tend to be very friendly and the staff are all there to help and make you feel as comfortable as possible. If you're playing a small stakes game like 1/2 or 1/3, there will be no pros at your table. It'll just be recreational players looking to have a good time. If you decide to go, let me know how your experience is. Don't worry about how winning or losing and just play tight. Good luck.
The first time is definitely nerve wracking. I never knew when the action was on me, or how to cut out chips. People were very friendly though and after that it gets easier and easier
But that's what we love about the Brad story arc, brave enough to blog about the losses as well as the wins, makes each episode interesting, we never know how you're going to roll.
Cool vid , better luck next time dude
Thanks for the transparency, it's not always wins but overall your stack trends upwards with time. High roller section seems to be where you need to play tighter because they have the money to lose. Can't wait to see some jewelry around your wrist.
keep your head up Brad. always rooting for you!
Been watching you from Singapore since years back when you just started off. Love where you are at now. Keep going!
awesome video bud!! all the best!! love seeing all aspects of Poker, not just the good parts
damn brad, i've basically learned from your vlogs that when villains overbet the river they always have it. it's understandable difficult to let go of aces though. Congrats on all your tourney winnings though!
The puns in between, so beautiful as always. Much love Brad!
Thank you man
Dang Brad!! Tough run! You’ll be back! 💪🏽💪🏽
Such incredible content Brad! To play in a big game with so much heart is amazing! I know I'm being redundant but you deserve redundancy! The positive impact you are making for our great game is awesome! Always best wishes for much success to you!! I'm confident you are just scratching the surface as a 35 year old!!
Thank you Daniel. These types of comments really do help and make me feel better. It's not always easy posting a big loss. Best of luck to you.
@@BradOwenPoker Everyone that knows me knows that I love being around life winners! I get a ton of inspiration from them to help fuel the success I've had in my journey! I appreciate your kind words and support Brad!
@bradowenpoker I really loved this video. I loved the raw emotion that cones with wins and losses we experience in poker. Thank you for sharing you motivate me to perfect my craft.
Fell in love with your Aces. You're not the first, and won't be the last.
So great to see a new vlog awaiting me at lunch time.
GREAT Vlog Brad!! Love your channel!!
Always a good day when we get a new brad Owen video
Thanks for sharing even though a bad loss. Just shows you love the game!
Great plays Brad, always a great viedo. Thank you!
I felt the pain on the 4k call and the 8k push. You were killing until those 2 hands but I don't need to tell u that.
Great watching you. I've never commented b4, congrats on all your success
Certainly prefer these full vlogs rather than all the shorts lately.
I like putting out full vlogs more as well. I've only put out 1 short in the last 2 months though.
Brad clickbait titles his opponents win and shows off his losses. This is why I appreciate this vlog. It shows a realistic view of the ups and downs of a poker pro. Excited to see you keep climbing in the poker world Brad.
Everytime brad posts it’s a good day
Yes, a new Brad poker video! Thank you!
What a play with A10. I love your warrior spirit!
AAAHHH, vlogdrawals quenched 😜 great videos, the online event was very well played, congrats on the FT.
Such a swing session. Thanks for the vlog.
Great vid for the reality of poker!! Very edumacational.. a lot of grit to play the tourney after the loss🤙🏻🤙🏻
Right on time!
You have 1 of the best poker videos ever keep it up❤
GOD Bless your BIG HEART Brad..
I remember being extremely nervous with you back then 2:10 makes me happy you've progressed so far :)
I laughed out loud when Brad said “I’m tired of his crap” when talking about the player that kept raising him 😂😂
nice bluff on the flush/boat board always takes balls
and its always tough folding aces
Glad to see a regular vlog instead of a clip 😉✌️🍀
Once again, this video came out at the perfect time as I’m sitting w food in front of me.
the hand at @3:45 blows my mind. You would think its a negative EV play I could never make at a live table yet brad soul reads this guy
Patisserie with the chocolate fountain in Bellagio is amazing for just before an AM session, couldn't stop going there
Great episode. Hope you bounce back with a big W soon
You played that AQo vs KQ hand perfectly. Don’t let results influence your feelings on that one that’s a perfect spot to range merge on that river and get value from 77-TT types of hands
Thanks Zach
See you at Graton! I might have to go play a few hands before, I haven't played much poker since the 101 Casino days.
That A 10 bluff was brutal - WTF
Reg war. Ego war or probably both
Yeah I was pretty baffled about that one.. seemed so unnecessary
Check is probably good there, I don’t think the villain folds KK there either. Smells punty
That hand you lost with AA vs trip 10 you played well... I think most people would have called that bet since the only hands your opponent could have that had you beat was pocket 7s or pocket 10s while he could have had loads of bluffs
Set of T's
Dang Brad. I haven’t been running good recently with my friends and I’s home cash 20/40 cent games. The feeling of knowing you could of left with more is the worst.
Every Brad Owen video is a must see
*Another great video Brad, don't worry about the downswings! Just wondering if you planned on bringing back those bookend quotes that you had on your white board? It was fun to see for the stint that you were doing those. Keep it up!*
Haha yeah I put one in the next video that will come out Monday. I just had forgotten do them for a while.
You have helped me with playing love your vids keep going
I love when Brad just transparently bum hunts. World Series week 6am Bellagio 😅
Pros hanging around the Bellagio at 6am hoping Brad will turn up..
@@stepbackandthink Brad would kill you and me. He has an advantage over 95% of players
@@johnjohnson9431 🤣 No.
@@stepbackandthink lol! certainly does seem so in this episode!
Brad, i learn from you! cheers friend!
Glad to see you comin up in the world I remember watching you sweat with a 1000$ pot when you had >100k subscribers.
keep your head up bro. you got this.
You have the best poker humor ever! 😂
I love your sayings. To damn funny 😂😂😂
Brad's the man.
You make my day with you're videos
Saw that second buy in and audibly said "OH NO". Tough go but you have been on fire lately so I know you will bounce back.
I couldn’t believe the way you played that A10 hand. Whatever you were representing, you knew the opponent was calling!
Tough one in the moment I am sure. All the very best for the next one
I can’t wait to watch this
Excellent content
I love to start playing poker about sunrise time when everybody else has played all night. I have had many of my best sessions playing early
Love it when he plays at bellagio
Smashing this button sooo haaaaaard 🔨💥💪
Sweet man a new video
Hey, I was just wondering when you're coming back to live casino in Maryland. I live in New York, it's the closest place for me. I've been watching since the beginning to see your growth is amazing. Congrats on the final table online. Hopefully, you can get a live final table this year. One love from NY
Can't win em all!.. "Swings & roundabouts" Brad!.. Unlucky man, but it's more roundabouts for you at the moment.. And we are all delighted for ya!.. Great for your friend too!!.. That extra 30 odd bucks wouldn't have killed ya! .. I'm more than sure he was buying the drinks! 😅.. Cheers as always for the most enjoyable vlog going! 👍✌...🤘
"ah thats the nuts huuh thats the nuts oh thats the nuts" lmaooo that was funny
Always a treat to watch a Brad vlog on Monday. Btw any idea of the buy in for the Graton Tournament on Aug 4?
It'll be $350, see you there!
I feel like people might be quick to call the attempted hero call with the pocket aces against the set of tens a bad move, but honestly the logic behind it makes so much sense. Really don’t think it’s a bad call at all. Just unlucky and the opponent played his hand well making it look like he was trying to buy the pot with a strong pre flop hand and a busted draw. They don’t call it the hero call because it’s easy to do. Honestly respect that play a lot
Hell ya Brad , nerves of steel . ❤
Hey Brad!! Would love to see some vlogs on Omaha. Not sure if you’re getting into it more, but it’s a fun game!
It's a great game. I enjoy playing it, I don't have much insight to give unfortunately. For that, you'll have to watch Andrew Neeme's vlogs.
This guy is the nicest ever, hope to meet and play with you some day.
Maybe it'll work out for you to come to a meet up game at some point
The old “Early Bird” saying. Sounds just like I’ve always remembered it.
lol what a donk call with those aces. He got you a beauty.
Good luck!!!!
Congress has actually determined that poker is a game of skill. Luck is for the game of Keno. Boy, I'm sure giving you a hard time? Sorry.😊
1min ago!? Perfect timing for lunch break
Even after that losing session, you still somehow did an outro in the las vegas sun in a hoodie. You da man.
I would have loved to come to Graton to catch up with the hometown poker hero. But I will be out of town in Nevada (go figure) and then down to LA to see The Giants vs Angels in Anaheim. Good luck and see you when your back in the Bay Area.
Brad you're still have an awesome channel your still the man the ambassador of poker no matter what happens in the felt you're going to bounce back that was the brutal bad beat with aces
You are a lucky guy for sure… you win and win and win… Have been in Vegas this week: Lost flopped set vs flopped overset, flopped flush vs higher flopped flush, turned straight vs rivered straight which I had blockers in my hand… lost another flush vs flush one day later, run into aces 4 times within 4 hours with AK oder KK…. Poker can be so easy if you are a guy who is loved by God 🤣🙏
I am right on pace with your breakdowns. You may have to deal with me at a final table soon. I hope so.
My buddy came 2nd in that $500 wsop event, he was the one standing up in the red jacket. I was gonna go watch too but i was playing at resorts. Damn wish i went now to say hi to you
