There is something about the havoc this season that makes me pick it up, and you explained why perfectly in the beginning. Usually id never pick it up, but once i got the delayed firing down its one of my favorites. The scout is another gun that feels nice this season, and good at pretty much any range except out in the parking lot.

Even with turbocharger to reduce delay, I for the life of me still cant control this freakin random recoil ! Can't play it mid-long range b/c of that. But it does output a ton of damage...

I love the havoc, tis amazing, but I'm on switch already and struggle with recoil a tad so I use it as an smg, I'm limited to round 75 meters otherwise I miss everything lol
I play on a Xbox 1 and its the same, I can beam up to about that point, anything beyond and im either experiencing a 7.1 on the richter scale, or I'm beaming at the space next to them and not on them.

Might be a hot take but I think it's good that pubs/ltms have variable matchmaking. Sometimes I'm not looking for a sweaty game, and sometimes it's humbling to be annihilated by a team you don't normally match against

I def remember the devo and havoc meta! The devo meta was like season 2 or 3. I remember being in old cascades on OG KC and everyone I fought would just spam hipfire the devo from so far away and delete whole squads. It was the same season the spitty was also meta.

That’s how matchmaking use to be, done games would be a champ squad with 100k kills which was a ton back in the early days. Then some games would be easier laid back lobbies.
The devo turbo charger slept on but it’s only really good in a good players hand it’s just nasty to use

I've been feeling the matchmaking wrong these last weeks. The game is pairing me with low lvl teammates and the games end up with me having for example 2k damage and my teammates 150. And the lobby being full of goobers. It's so weird
The havoc is great if you use it as an SMG or LMG, but I can never hit anything at range
Bro I have fought preds 3 stacking and the shiniest of new players. Then you get that one lobby that everyone is on the same level skill wise. It’s whip lash for sure.

Went from one game where I faced a three stack squad of top 500 preds to the next game facing squads of people less than level 300. Honestly, my buddies and I just leave the game when we face 3 stack preds.

I'm a big fan of the havoc rifle also!
They have done Mirage dirty since season 1. Even now, his ultimate and tactical do NOT mimic him directly. I found this out in the firing range with my kid - if you are using ANY weapon skin other than the defaults, you stand out from your decoys, as they use the default skins. This includes the lovely holstered gun on your back skins, so if you've ever found yourself popping an ult and it seems like they just continued to laser you, it is likely due to the player watching you just looking for the one with a unique gun and firing at him (the real mirage).

I actually feel exactly the opposite. The 301 is way more accurate at range and has a similar ttk, they also buffed it's hip fire and it feels better than the havocs. The flatline covers all the ranges that the havok does and does have better hip fire while having nearly the same ttk and not needing to be charged up. The Havoc has been slept on for ages but it's just not the best option this season.

I've been here since the game first came out. Season 6 was wild. But honestly, it wasn't as bad as right now because people weren't consistent, and many were turned off by the Amp up time to fire.
I'm just glad we aren't in the Lstar meta anymore 🤣💀

The havoc has a secret skill gap to it... its the only weapon you can B-hop with and the reticle while ADS will not bounce up and down. Its most broken on horizon. I have 6k hours in apex...

I mean, at 13ish minutes you died to the teammate of the dude you tried to land on, as you can clearly see him walk out the door to help his teammate and then when you spectate him, he's literally holding hands with the dude you tried to land on and healing.
*edit* Also, the last team did NOT have double red. The first guy has red, you crack him, he backs off, you hit a dude with blue. You give the first guy time to hit a battery, which he does, and you break him again and kill him at the end. That was your 'double red'.
You should make a video about how trash the PK is this season, you hit so many shots with it for like 11s it’s crazy. It almost gets you killed.
