Doctor just told me my heart rate has dropped to zero and that it wont work again, so basically only the pacemaker is what's keeping me alive. Do you have any reading material for people in my condition? Thank you!
If my elderly mother (90) w/ICD receives multiple shocks while at home, is it acceptable for me, her caretaker, to apply an appropriate magnet over the ICD to stop the shocks even if she may expire as a result?

That is a question that needs to be addressed during a conversation between you, your mother, and your mother's physician.
