    OMG love Busan! Haeundae Beach is THE beach in Korea. Summer hotspot and absolutely gorgeous! And don't forget, right next door there's Gwangalli Beach which is also gorgeous but has the added benefit of having a large bridge spanning the water in the background that's lit up at night. There's just something special about the ocean smell and salt air, combined with the hustle and bustle of a modern city, that makes Busan very special.

    Yeong-do bridge!! that arch-shaped bridge you guys went to, was the meeting point for the families during the Korean war. My grandparents had to walk all the way down to Busan as refugees during the war from North Korea, my grand mother went there first because my grand dad had to take care of a lot of stuff.. told her to meet him at Yeong-do bridge. She took my oldest uncle and aunt, walked all the way down there and waited for my grand father every day, he eventually made it and they met after a few months. Busan was the only city that was not occupied by the communist north Korea back then so it was a temporary capital city even. Then they started selling sweet potatoes on the street in Busan, after the war moved to Seoul. That bridge always has a special meaning to me.

I can't remember if they had ones with nuts/seeds when I was growing up in Busan in the 80s and 90s, but the simple one is definitely old school. Not sure how good that fried chicken was, but usually those tented vendors (called pojangmacha) aren't known for their fried chicken. KTX originally had a dining car, but it was abolished due to low demand due to the nature of arriving at the destination in a short time due to its high speed.

    Thank you to those who kindly pointed out there was an incorrect auto-translation to Korean in our title. After investigating this, trying to read Korean, and using Google Translate, we have *hopefully* fixed this, please let us know if it is inaccurate. Apologies for this and thank you again!
    제목에 한국어 자동 번역이 잘못되었다는 점을 친절하게 지적해 주신 분들께 감사드립니다. 이 문제를 조사하고 한국어를 읽으려고 시도하고 Google 번역을 사용하여 *희망*이 수정되었으므로 정확하지 않은 경우 알려주시기 바랍니다. 이에 대해 사과드리며 다시 한 번 감사드립니다!

      bullet train이 원래는 고속 열차를 뜻하기도 하고, 신칸센으로 번역이 나올 수 있습니다. 즉 신칸센은 오역이라고 보시면 됩니다.

      Hello! Thank you for watching and for your comment. We noticed several people pointing this out to us as well. So we can learn, can you tell us know where in the video this was called a shinkansen? we may be misinterpreting and do not mean to offend. We called the train a bullet train in English as this is what the train is named on KTX website. Thank you for teaching us!!

    • @user-ob9pr1it4m
      @user-ob9pr1it4m Před 2 lety

      영상 제목을 한국어로 자동번역 하는중에 ktx(bullet train)가 신칸센으로 유튜브?에서 잘못 번역한것 같네요. 영상에는 전혀 신칸센이라는 용어로 말하지 않은것 보니까 이분들도 한국어로 잘못 번역된지 전혀 몰랐던것 같아요. 이 분들이 ktx에 대해 좋은 인상을받았다고 하고 재미있어 했는에. 일부러 그런게 아닌것 같아요... ^^;;
      it seems that ktx was translated automatically into Shinkansen by automatic tranalation somehow
      . In the video, they didn't even use the term Shinkansen at all, so I guess they didn't even know it was translated wrongly into Korean.
