Hey there, just found this video and must say that I am impressed! I am an artist as well and working on my bachelors concentrating in 2D work. I too enjoy showing people new materials and how best to use them. I do not find many videos that show newer artists how to get the best results from their tools and what situations they work best in. Especially key things like the order in which to use your materials like charcoal and graphite.
You def have a new follower, keep up the good work.
thank you so much!! greatly appreciate you being here 🙌
hey zach how do you deal with the shine that comewith layering graphite on top of the charcoal powder??
Hey Zach! I love your art work man, you’re so inspirational. Do you ding the dust free eraser you use leaves a residue on the paper? When I have used an eraser to clean paper, I find that the charcoal “sticks” to that area making it a lot darker and harder to blend out. Keep up the good work bro.
The mono eraser is life
Thanks!!!
Thanks @ Zachary you are amazing bro
thanks man!!
No encuentro esos pinceles 😅
Amazing work i followed you from Iraq
thank you so much!
Very insightful. Paper?
Thanks! I’m currently using Strathmore 500 Series Smooth Bristol. However, it’s incredibly expensive (about $50 per sheet) so I’d recommend the 400 series. it’s only one step down, incredibly high quality, and you can buy a whole pad of it for less than that on Amazon. That’s what I used for all my previous work
