  • Join our tour of our Custom 1999 Mitsubishi Delica 4WD Campervan that was imported from Japan (RHD). We show you all the features of this rare custom JDM camper from the outside to the inside. This is the first episode of many in our renovation journey. Come along with us as we renovate and restore each section of the campervan and make it into our ultimate adventure vehicle; perfect for all our outdoor and camping adventures.
    Our family of four is living in the beautiful Canadian Rocky Mountains. Our main goal of our family is to live a life immersed in nature and the outdoors. A life where adventures and family time take priority. Part of this lifestyle requires us to have an awesome adventure vehicle to take us into the wild. That is what has inspired this journey to renovate and restore this campervan.

    Hi, great video, I can't wait to see the renovation. It would be awesome to put a bathroom in that empty corner. Take care

      Hi John, thanks for watching the video. We were thinking that too but we also would like to keep the weight down and have a bigger kitchen

    wow! the bed area was a really pleasant surprise. what a great use of space and is quite a large for the size of van and extremely practical. It's out of the way and can be hidden. Also, honestly I like the layout too. I would extend the kitchen and create L cabinetry, other than that, I think everything else can be cosmetic. You can restore almost everything in there to keep cost low. awesome van! really looking forward to see what you do with it. :D

      Thanks Elliot. You are so right about the kitchen! We were hoping to extend it and make it an L shape. Hoping to keep the cost as low as possible 😉

    Beautiful Camper, Who does The maintenance on These Camper. ???

    • @HappyFamilyAdventures
      @HappyFamilyAdventures  Před rokem

      The camper is based on a Mitsubishi Delica, so any mechanic can do the maintenance as long as you provide the parts. Otherwise you can take the camper to any JDM shop.

    How was importing one of these?
    We got one in Japan I’d like to bring back.
    Is shipping more because it’s tall?

    • @HappyFamilyAdventures
      @HappyFamilyAdventures  Před 3 měsíci +1

      Hi Kyle, we bought it through an importer, they pretty much take care of everything for you. But I do remember that the height and length matters on shipping cost. I used B-pro in Calgary. There are similar companies in BC as well. You could probably message them to get a quote 🙂
