I Imported a JDM Camper - SITE UNSEEN

In December of 2022 I hired a broker to find me a Mitsubishi JB470 in Japan. I wired the money and the van sat at the port in Yokohama for 7 months!
After a LONG wait we were able to get the Van a ride on a ship to Galveston, TX and this 2 part series details picking up the van and the adventure as I took it from the Port of Galveston all the way to Portland, OR and back to Salt Lake City!

What was the driving experience like? You said it felt like it lost power in the heat, but how did it fare otherwise? What were your speeds going up big grades? And how’s the noise level while driving? Wondering how loud it is while you’re sitting on top of the engine…
