1:00 in, the look Maisy gives her inspiration basically. That look completes me. She admires her older sister and looks up to her in everything that she does, adorable.
The harmonies for this song are very difficult. Maisy sings them PERFECTLY. Great job.
difficult for you maybe? seem simple to me, not to brag, it just is a pretty straightforward G-C-D song and the melody does not jump around much like other songs that I would consider difficult.
It doesnt matter how many times i see these girls perform songs or videos, every time i'm completely blown away, their voices are incredible together or stand alone, let alone their talent with their musical instruments for their age, I'm not a fan of country music, but i would listen to them everytime.
They pull the same face when singing, its so cute! I love these 2 they're brilliant

I don't understand all the hate about this, yes Johnny Cash is amazing, but so are these girls. So they did a cover. They are showing their love, respect, and adoration for him and his music by singing it. How is it actually harming you? And another thing, you more than likely have never known Mr. Cash so therefore you cannot speak on his behalf. You don't know if he'd curse these young talented LITTLE GIRLS or if he'd be tickled pink.

Choice of material and lyric is an issue sometimes.. That is what country music is all about. When I hear a 9 or 10 year old sing "Bound by wild desire" or "I fell for you like a child then the oh boy the Fire went wild" it is a little creepy. "the lyric should be I fell for you as a child" I think that is what the blogger below was maybe trying to get at. It is not believable. Maybe they should be singing about going to the mall. Maybe someones show biz mum should be thinking about that. Then again with over 2 million hits maybe taste and believability are not factors in this world anymore.
There's always been child singers. And these girls are also actresses and appear on the show, Nashville. If you remember the movie about Johnny Cash, he was working in a sawmill at the same age as this young girl. I would much rather see her expressing her talents on the stage.

Like there voices alot but there are just some things that a woman's voice isnt right for and this cover was one of those things.

Most people are used to hearing Johnny Cash sing this song, so it is harder to appreciate two lovely young ladies sing this song. They are very inspirational. Just seeing the adoring look in Maisy's eyes towards her sister is priceless! I hope these two ladies accomplish what their hearts and voices praise!
Hmmm.. This song shouldn't be sung by a woman??? It was written my a WOMAN!! A woman that Mr. Cash loved very much.. June Carter wrote this song about Johnny.. So I certainly think it can be sung by other talented females.. Believe me, I am very critical when it comes to covers of this song... It is very sacred to me... but that is just ridiculous in my opinion.
These young ladies are truley amazing...they are such sweet girls there parents should be proud! I could listen to them everyday all day long....they have such a bright future ahead of them...GOD bless them.

It is a very good rendition of a country classic. It is in their own style and sounds just as good as Johnny Cash's version, which is what I like about most country songs. There were times when I closed my eyes listening, I could have sworn that June Carter Cash was actually singing her part of the song.

Best harmonies I've heard since Don and Phil Everly or the Lennon Sisters. The Judds had nothing on these two. They both have "gift of God" voices. Hard to imagine how good they'll be in 5 years. Definitely will be one of the biggest crossover stars to ever come out of Nashville!......

It was hard to play and was a Stella guitar. After a year, my father went and bought me a Gibson B-25 in 1964 for my 10th birthday. I had to share it with my younger brother. Those were the days..........................
