I've always thought about making a sheath like this, but I've never gone through with it. I like the look of the antler with the threads going through. Great job.

Oh, the sailors of long ago used sharpened nails to scratch in bone and ivory and then ink them. I’m guessing there are lots of CZcams videos on the subject.
ok thank you! i kind of feel bad for asking but if you have any antler pieces that you arent going to keep i would be more than happy to take them as i am starting to get into knifemaking and would like to make a knife with antler in the handle : )

What type of leatherfat is that you use?
It's pig fat with a hint of pine tree tar in it.
@@VahidCullsberg i use fat bear leather care. It is bear fat with a bit of beeswax
Did you make it yourself? I think I have to get me some beeswax 😊
