Great work guys, and REMEMBER...NEVER back your trailer into the water until the wheel bearings cool down! The air in them contracts and sucks sea water into the bearings!!!

The mudguards for the trailer i would do orange to match top of boat give it nice contrast 😀

Cleaned up absolutely incredibly well guys. I'd be inclined to spray over the orange and tint the windows, definitely add some more value to it and make it more modern looking.

Hi Chris and Rob just been watching your video on the CJR I'm sure that was my boat that I had in the 90s it still had the same mat's in it I got from a bakery I didn't name it though but I built that trailer. Me and my son had many of good hours fishing in her on the lochs. All the best lovely to see her shine again. Take care

When you rebuild that trailer, you'll find a set of wheels and tyres can be had for less than tyres only, and will make a lot of sense

Another great video, as always. I live on a narrowboat and, as I understand the name change thing, it’s unlucky to rename a boat whilst it’s in the water, changing the name should be done when it’s “on the hard”, as in, out of the water.

I remember watching a few years back, thinking Chris was a grumpy bugger but, he is like me, a man of few words, he talks when he has something to say, not for the sake sake of it, unlike you, Rob, you LOVE to waffle on, lol, having said that, the two of you make a great team and do incredible work.

There's just something so satisfying about cleaning up really dirty items with a jet washer! That's come up well, considering its age! someone in the comments said it was made in 1964.
That’s come up an absolute dream, new/cleaned upholstery & she’ll be set to join Chris’s garage 👍🚤 . Great to watch different content & shows your versatility 👍👍
I would never have thought a video of someone washing a boat would have been so enjoyable but it was .
If you did change your mind about renaming Leanne here are a few suggestions: Noice, Let's Get Involved, Gone Salvagin', Copart Superstar or my favourite Salvage Beauty. I'm sure plenty of us are really enjoying this unusual series, thank you both.
Chris needs to get a decent phone case if he keeps cracking screens. Have a look for Mous cases, impressive cases and as close to unbreakable as you’ll get. They have some incredible testing videos on CZcams where they throw phones out of cranes and helicopters.

You can change a boat name as someone I know changed his fishing trawler name as he didn't like it but you have to remove all traces of the current name by taking any and every item bearing the boat's name off the boat "he burnt it but everyone different" Then he did a purging ceremony then offer a sacrifice normally champagne etc then rename the boat as soon as possible

I would've showed the difference between just a jet wash and using the cleaner and jet washing.

You should check/replace the water pump on the outboard motor. If it is the rubber flex type, it needs to go.
I had thought a boat could be renamed whilst out of the water, but I have had a quick look and there is a bit more to it and involves a ceremony, but it could involve Rum and Champagne and libations to Neptune and Poseidon, sounds fun. That is content I would like to see.😁

I sold that EXACT model of boat, a CJR around 10 years ago and when I saw this video I thought, surely not...... Alas, it isn't mine, but was great seeing one of them again. Great job on the tidy up!
A great fun project this time, she really did wash up well, that cleaner just melted the algae off, it broke it down and once denatured, the power wash sent it on its way. It looks a nice little water run about now and with the trailer sorted it should be a nice weekend fun set up. Another great find in my mind any no doubt, in yours and your books as well.

The trailer is the most important member of the team. Nothing sucks worse than being broke on the side of the road. Replace bearings with new, don't mess around with used.

Don't usually like first wash videos.They're not salvage rebuilds after all, but there is something very fuzzy and satisfying about this one. Aargh! Can't wait to see it all come together with the rebuilt trailer.

Came up great, wet but clean and I mean the boat! You’ll have to let Chris have a quick blast first like Rob did with the Jet ski…..adding some rollers to the back of the trailer bed will help with loading and unloading I’m sure. Have a great weekend guys

This is a great little series! Glad to hear you will be doing the trailer too! When the boat is being transported on the road, the trailer is part of the boat and needs to look good too in my opinion.
