    As a big Nissan supporter, I want Nissan to push the Altima harder as the competition in this segment is stiff. More options: ( engine, transmission, leather, Nismo)

    • @travelseatsyellowlab
      @travelseatsyellowlab Před 2 lety +5

      Every year Nissan has lost market share in the segment, down to just 7 percent. While a good product, Nissan played it too safe, now it's trailing the competition.

    I owned a Maxima for years even when they switched over to the CVT. I could not get use to the CVT at all. I would love it if Nissan would ditch the CVT for a traditional automatic. Would go back to Nissan in a heartbeat.

    I have never been a Nissan fan since the time I sat in a Maxima and played with the stereo knobs and they seemed jiggly loose thinking there were about to fall off. But that was a few decades ago. I just recently had to rent a car for about a week and they handed me a 2021 Altima. Once I figured out the key fob, I was really impressed with the comfort and the performance this car had. Not to mention, I actually think the Altima is a better looking car than the Camry. Now I see this has zero gravity seats which would be awesome on my back. As long as the longevity is there, I think I might spring for one of these in the exact color as being shown here.

    I love my 2020 Nissan Altima 2.5 SL FWD dark grey with black leather. The best car I’ve ever owned. Drives very smoothly & it’s surprisingly quiet. Since I’m a new driver, the safety technology has really did me a favor helping me learn how to drive.
    Tip: if you’re thinking about getting the SV trim, i would recommend you get the SL trim. Why get the standard value trim when you can get the standard Luxury trim for $6,000 more which you get a lot more in your investment.

    Had a 1995 Altima, best car ever. I let my niece use it in 2008, she had an accident, that was the end of that. That was the best car I ever had. 2020 I bought a 2013 Nissan Sentra. The Sentra was very nice, drove good. The dealership gave me a 1 year warranty on that car. 1 year and 2 weeks later the transmission went out. Lol. They really had their timer set well. It's a CVT that will go bad between 50-100k miles. then you'll need a lawyer to sue over the inherited design flaw.

    Nissan I am woken almost nightly by the HONK LOCK vehicles
    PLEASE TURN DOWN THE VOLUME!!!!
    There is no need for LOUD NOISE to notify drivers that their cars are locked.
    A Super soft electronic beep can do that and not wake people or stress them out
    Who do you know who likes to be HONKED at and WOKEN UP?

CVT is no go 100% . no matter what you do to your vehicles CVT remain to be a big deal problem ... DID I SAY ENOUGH NISSAN ?!!!!
