    Nissan is the best car in my opinion. It is very reliable and practical. Spare parts are available at a very reasonable price. It is indeed the best Japanese car

    I have a 2014 Sentra. Looking to upgrade. But not a fan of CVT. I have a little bit over 120k miles on it, but the CVT it’s starting to fail. Even if I like the Murano, the CVT is something I don’t want. They don’t hold up very well. And $4000 a pop to replace, no thank you.

    Hello, Myself and my wife were the victim of a hit and run, side swipe for which I have the police report in my possession. We were at no fault. The damage was superficial with the front bumper being ripped off and the window wash reservoir being crushed. I brought the car into the Bay Ridge service repair on 9/6/2022 the same day and did not get the car back until the week 9/30/2022? I understand the adjuster has to look at the car before work starts and that was done by 9/9/2022. I was not fully aware of the part problem you had. I was told at different times the car was ready but I was eventually allowed a loaner car in the third week the car was with the dealership. When I was called to pick up the car, the part was not working correctly so I had to return it. There was a lot of back and forth with this experience. I think it's ludicrous to have to wait for repair authorization from the insurer before the work can start? You guys could have just held my credit card? I don't understand why it took so long for you to source a window washer reservoir when it is fitted to at least four Murano models in consecutive years 11-14? Then I have to return the car because the repair is not working properly. This left me bewildered that an organisation as global as yours operates in this way in the 21st century? I had brakes replaced on the day I returned the car for the correction to be made but now I'm concerned about the quality of work done as I drive it around.
    I think allway round your staff need better training and a system of part availability should be able to inform the customer of realistic wait times if the part is not on your site. The customer needs to know exactly what the daily status of the vehicle is and this can be done via some website means. I should not have to be calling into the service dept every other day asking if the car is ready or when it will be ready? I own another Nissan vehicle and while waiting at the service center for an update I went into the showroom to look at new models with a possible upgrade in mind but having finally gotten my car back which then I had to return so it could be fixed correctly, I have gone off the idea. Your after sales support is really subpar and I don't want to go through this experience again! I realize now that I should have taken my car to a local mechanic affiliated with AAA of which I am a member. I only brought it back to the dealership because there was a recall on the vehicle in the first place! Signed - Totally exhausted/moving to Chevy!

      Hi, Joe. We sincerely regret to hear that you have had such a negative experience with one of our independently owned and operated dealerships. We would like to look further into this matter, as this is not the type of service we wish to provide. Please contact us via Facebook Private Message for the best assistance. Be sure to include the full name registered to the vehicle and the 17-digit VIN. Thank you.

      @@nissanusa The complaint has been open for weeks now. No one from the service center has called. But I'm not expecting anyone to own this issue at that location. In general, the customer management in your dealerships is very poor. You need to update your system to allow customers to be able to track progress of their vehicles without having a service manager guesstimate parts delivery and job finish! Have you ever had to use the service center yourself? what I suggest you do is send somebody in undercover from your corporate office so you can get a real assessment of this process. People spend a lot of money on your products and then they become a critical part of their lives. This experience has been just ridiculous from a major car brand!

    Dear Nissan, I love you but please look at what Genesis is doing with their crossovers. Powerful engines, rear-wheel drive bias, and no CVT. You used to be the fun manufacturer, and I love my 2022 Frontier… but please improve the Murano, Maxima, and Altima!

    • @dianeoliver9041
      @dianeoliver9041 Před 2 lety +4

      There are those of US that really love the Murano the way it is! It has plenty of get up & go so you don’t need a more powerful engine. It is comfortable & stylish & just the right size, leave perfection alone as far as design goes. Adding safety features is great but don’t mess with design!!!

    I own Murano 2019. Nothing to complain. Almost identical to Lexus RX350 I use to have. Nice sounded V6 with reasonable acceleration of 7 sec 0-60mph. Unfortunately, Nissan is not going to change design till 2024-25, what makes this great vehicle looks obsolete.
    Hint for Nissan owners: you can extend CVT life at least twice by to partially exchanging the transmission fluid every 20-25k. Replace only 4-5 liters, without filter change. It will reduce concentration of steel micro-particles (caused by CVT belt) what would prevent oil pressure regulator from damage.
