So glad you preserved this machine and that it's still working. I don't drink soda but will certainly be walking by and taking a picture as I usually do of this machine...going to continue to look for other old vending machines on the island this summer too.
I have the same machine as well. Still trying to figure out a few kinks like: one selection you put your money in and make your selection, then you have to repeat the same process again to have the beverage fall completely.
Hey I love your channel I recently purchased a vendo pepsi machine for my motorcycle shop. I'm not too far from wildwood NJ, wondering if you like to come out and make a video here. Would obviously pay for your services!
Hey you got me into vending!! I have this same Model Dixie Narco and watched the other videos of you fixing it up. Thanks for all the info and details of the machine and operation. I believe mine needs a new compressor but that's not stopping me. Everything else works great except for the coinage digital display. I love these older machines. Great videos!!!!!
Lookin' good! I do wish someone would make a quality flavor label for these machines. I make most of my own, and even with UV protecting spray, the labels fade over time. It's strage that with as many of these machines that are still out there, nobody is making the labels.
I found the switch on eBay and replaced it. Turns out it wasn’t the switch. When I put the coins in it vends the same pop every time without pushing a selection. Any ideas? Really appreciate it!!
Hey Bill, love your content! I recently purchased my own Dixie narco 276mc and I’m having an issue. It’s saying the Vmc is disabled from mech and I can’t get a straight answer on what that means and how to fix it. (It’s my first machine) I would love if you had any ideas for me. Thanks!
Did the machine ever work? Does it have a bill acceptor and coin mech? Is everything disabled or just the coin mech? Does the coin mech have enough change in it? Dora the machine have product to vend? What happens when you put coins in the machine?
@@HappyVending hey thanks a lot for the reply. Supposedly it ran fine up until 2 years ago when it was out away. It does have a bill acceptor and a coin mech on it. I’m not sure what all is disabled, I’ve just flashing a red light saying “Vmc is disabled from mech” there’s about $5 of change for each coin type. It is stocked with product. And whenever you put quarters in they just get returned at the bottom.
@@bengerard9632 Probably a bad coin mech. Try swapping it out with a known working one. If that fixes the problem, just send the bad coin mech out to be repaired by Vendor's Exchange or another repair company.
@@bengerard9632 Maybe...if it needs the coin mech to give change. You can try setting the machine to only accept dollars and see if it works then. My 276 has a setting for that.
glad to see that you went back to check on it. good video.
I bought an old 7up machine 25 years again and put both Pepsi and Coke in it. People didn't know what to think! haha

Sounds like your cam setting is wrong.
@@HappyVending thank you I’ll check it out.
I adjusted the cam and works perfectly now!
Thanks Bill! Really enjoy your videos; very informative.

What model vendo did you get? What is wrong with it?

These don't have a digital display...there is just a light that lights when it needs exact change.
@@HappyVending Ok I had remembered incorrectly then. I thought the red display would show the credit amount.
Congrats on breaking 3k subs. You deserve it!
Thanks Mark!
Awesome video you can add a bill validator to that machine to increase profits
Yes...I mentioned that to the owners but they were happy with it just taking coins.
Is that an r12 machine?
probably
Which is better to you? Fanta or Crush Grape Soda
Crush
@@HappyVending What do you prefer Pepsi or Coke
@@matthewadventureexploratio6596 coke

Yeah...I guess you need to start your own printing business. Thanks for sending the price label!
Could you sell me the part number for that selection switch? I have the same switch but can’t find one.
I do not have any selection switches for this machine. Did you look on ebay?

Ok I’ll give that a shot! Thanks! I’ll let you know.
That did it!!! You’re the man!! Really appreciate it!!! Good karma coming your way!!

You swap out Coke to Pepsi Products
Well...the owner switched to Pepsi...not me.
