@@pamelamason3004 the thermostat is seperate and not part of the cooling deck. It connects directly to the control board.

You need to price it high enough to make a profit and make it worth your while. I think 1.50 for cans of soda is just right in today's market.

I do not own a vendo 721 and have never worked on them. You should post your question in the vendiscuss.net forum. Lots of people will be able to help you there.
Would you feel comfortable pushing it UP a ramp that you have to push hard on? Im contemplating buying this, a hitch, a trailer and moving my own machines, but im worried im not strong enough pushing it up a ramp.
I guess it depends on how steep the ramp is. It is always best to bring someone to help you when you're moving machines onto a trailer. I would always have a second person with me when doing that.
So my card reader is up and working, well kinda it will recognize the card, but will not charge the card and still dispenses the item. Can explain a possible problem
Are you sure it's not charging the card? Did you contact Nayax to get the reader online after you installed it? What machine is this on?
Does this change a paper bill 💵 from.75 to 1 dollar automatically or you have to do it separately?
I'm not sure what you mean by changing a paper bill? You don't change types of money by setting the price, people can pay with any type of money they'd like...bills, coins, credit card, etc.

So, I have 2 of my Royal Marlins with VPOS touches that work fine for all types of sales, but do not show my cash vends in my dashboard. Does that more than likely mean the computer board doesn't support it.
I had to have the eprom updated on my Merlin IV board to get it to report cash sales. At that time, Coinco updated the board for me since they manufactured them for royal. Not sure if Coinco still does that, but you can try contacting them.
The issue I’m having is the card works, the machine accepts it, approves it, then charges it, but doesn’t vend product! Any advice????

Bill thabks for all your help ! Always looking for advice on switching from cans to 16.9 ounce bottles - not 20 ounce bottles - 20 ounce are dying in my market price and quantity adults to want any more - can you do a video on this with a Dixie narco conversion ? Would be greatly appreciated
For 16.9 in a Dixie, use a can shim and vend them 2 deep.
the nayax is the worst card reader in the USA, its constant failures, its service department stinks, and they pay a week late, if you want a card reader that works better use catalupe us-live.

Could this be the reason my machine sometimes gives out multiple beverages when a button is held down for a certain period of time?
Only if the machine is charging for each product vended. If it only charges for one product, but vends two, then there is another problem.
Hi, as I am new to vending. And creating my first business bank account. How many transactions from Nayax do you expect per month? Many banks have different numbers of free transactions.

at what point does the coin mech dispense dimes and nickels for change instead of quaters? I noticed that when the quaters are low on my machine, it does not take bills. Why when there is enough nickels and dimes to give for change?
@@virgo2fly your machine might not know it has enough money in the coin mech. Empty all the coins from the mech and refill it using tube fill mode.

I have a Dixie Narco 260 that won’t vend . The vend relay energizes but it won’t dispense product. I have the service manual with wiring diagrams but can seem to track down the problem. Any ideas?
The motors in those old machines are usually in series...so if the first one has a broken connection, none of the motors after it will work. I would really inspect the wires going to the first motor. Maybe even swap the first motor for the last motor. Also make sure your sold out switches are working.
Hi I was looking for how to just pop the bottom can out for work to rotate out an expired item. Do you have a video for how to do that without changing the price?
It all depends on the machine. What do you have? For a royal g3, you can just reach underneath and release the product stop latch and move the rotor around and drop down the sodas. You can also go into the menu and have the machine test vend a column multiple times.
I own a laundromat and having the hardest time going from can to Gatorade bottle in my vending machine until I found this video. Great explanation! 10/10!
Thank you! Very useful info as always. Another reason I vend cans is the environmental impact of plastic. I also find that discarded cans quickly get picked up and turned in for the refund value, so there is less litter around that property owners might associate with vending services.

Greetings Bill. Your video was extremely helpful. Very glad I ran into it since there are not a lot of technicians that service these types of soda machines. I was able to make use your video to have the correct setting for the 20Oz bottles. I do have a question regarding the use of 16.9Oz bottles. Due to inflation, and customer willingness only to pay so much for a soda, we ran into the 16.9Oz bottles that meet the consumer price but we are having issues while vending. The issue we have is that when we bought our machine, it came with no rods and only one type of shim which only has the three notches on them. They work for the 20Oz, but not for the 16.9. So one person will pay but get no soda, the next person pays and gets two bottles. This pattern repeats over and over, one no vending second vending double bottles. Can you suggest a solution?
I kept looking for the drain tube to see how they do that on these. On my 1957 Vendo 81, it has a tube that goes to a small water tray that has a wafer thing that soaks up the water and evaporates it.

Hi, the 6% the credit card company charges per transaction, are they charging me or the customer? For example, I have a soda for sale for $1.25 and cash is that price. But if I have the card reader and someone pays with credit card will they deduct their 6% out of my $1.25 ? , leaving me $1.00 or $1.15? Etc?

@@HappyVending Hi brother, I am finally getting ready to get my first card reader. I had a question. I am buying a vending machine from a person that has 55 + vending machines running. So they mentioned they would sell me the card reader and transfer the ownership. And they mentioned it takes about 10 days and cost for transfer is around $30. Is this a straight forward process or is the transfer a messy process usually? Its my first time. The person seems trust worthy. I went to their warehouse and looked at other machines too, so they are legit. Also, while we start the transfer process, I plan to put the machine on site and start setting it up. If the transfer does take 10 days as mentioned. Do i put a note to only use cash and not card reader for 10 days and onces its transfers, then remove that sign from my vending machine?
@@meetbhuller6324 Make sure the reader your buying is 4g so that you're not getting outdated technology. Once they contact the reader company and transfer the reader to you, it's pretty straight forward. You might want to contact the reader company first and create an account so that they have something to transfer the reader to. And yes, you can put a sign on the machine that just says "cash only" until you get the reader up and running.
I have a random credit card reader already on my machine. How do I activate the reader?
You would have to have the previous owner contact the cc reader company and transfer it to your name. If you don't know the previous owner, it's just usable for parts.

I have a question I have a royal 804 I unplugged it to move to a different spot and when I plugged it back in everything reset! All Prices are .50 cents no more temp on display Anyone ever run across this problem
The backup battery on your board is dead and needs to be replaced. It's a big battery that looks like a multipin chip. It should say timekeeper on it. Be careful removing it from the board...use a chip puller if you have one. Since the machine lost its programming, you will need to reprogram Space to Sales and prices.

Is that something I can do myself? Is it soldered in or does it pull straight up? If not do you recommend somewhere I can send it off?
@@alow2323 I've replaced them myself. They are not typically soldered in, but sometimes might have a dap of glue holding them in. Make sure you put the new one in in the same direction, pay attention to where pin 1 goes.
