Chasing 1309 through the Fall colors in Western Maryland!

Here is a chase of The Western Maryland scenic Railroad from Ridgeley WV up to Frostburg MD & back to Cumberland on 10-28-23 with beautiful Fall colors!
Then here is the Western Maryland dinner train with 501 leading on 10-28-23!

Hey, they actually fixed the cylinder packing and most of the steam leaks- progress! Too bad they don't use the Frostburg turntable... nice of the cyclist to ruin your otherwise great shots.

1309 is just barely short enough to fit on the turntable, but I think they're still working on rerouting the tracks to the turntable, which is the only thing preventing 1309 from using it since the curve of the tracks would exceed the limits of the articulation.
