This theme was so great. Absolutely loved everything about this boss fight. The build up, actual fight, the nervous feeling I had when I realized shits about to go down, it was so amazing. I really wish this series wasn’t so underrated!
Yeah man this is like the end of the end but it was worth the wait and if you’ve played the previous games you should be fully invested in Mcburns unusual and dark story. We waited four games for him to show his true form.
He was easy though
Rean
Fie
Emma
Juna
(Rean hits with helix for 30000 and delays
Fie evades literally everything and hits back for a counter for 2.0 damage
Juna acting last uses Quick Star to boost the other three to act again
Emma-yeah magic nuke
And Place Of Eregion to block some of the more deadly attacks
At 25% health throw in Kurt and Ash and use there buffed S-craft
Rean finishes it
@@georocks3810 I could cheese literally everything with Alisa's Heavenly Gift. The fight is still dope.
A fitting theme for mcburn. It's like fighting for the end of the world
When I heard this I was holy fuck it's a remix of Sky SC enforcers theme hell yeah
Fun fight too
Hell whole game was really bloody good can't wait for Hajimare
BEST MOMENT IN THE ENTIRE GAME!!!!!
The buildup is fantastic and when he shows his true form and he says it’s time to throw down…….it’s at this moment you think the wait has totally been worth it.
Once I heard this theme, I just knew that what was revealed was only just the tip of the iceberg for the mysteries of the world of Kiseki.
During this fight I almost felt like I'm not playing trails of cold steel. The area, his true form and this music just made me think of shin megami tensei.
And I don't think that's a bad thing. This fight is important, way more to this whole game series than Osborne, whose fight for me got left in the shadow of this one.
I get why this reveal/fight is towards the back end of the game but I wish it had appeared earlier. For most of ToCS II, III and IV we get McBurn in his standard or powered up mode and only get teased with this form until this battle late in Cold Steel IV. I guess I really digged this fight given the theme added a satisfying layer of epicness/technical rock to proceedings.
I cross my fingers we get to hear this again in a future Kiseki title. One of the best boss themes across all four of the ToCS games without fail.
Edit: I can only assume Falcom left this reveal until late in ToCS IV as they not only wanted it to be surprising for players but intend to have McBurn return at some point in the future (we don't know whether he's still with Ouroboros or operating on his own after the end of this game yet).
@@patrickhoneyman9019 I'll be saying something important so for those who havent played hajimari no kiseki yet dont read it
Spoilers:
Near the end of the game he meets with the Grandmaster, after getting half of his memories back, tells them that he'll be working on getting the other half back, but he gurantees them that he will be sure to fulfill his "role" (in Ourorboros there is a role that each member has, that is why they do nothing when members leave or do nothing. Thats how much freedom they give. Just like Anguis #2. She never left Ouroboros when she went off the rader to do her own things like resurrecting her companion/pet.) Though im truly looking forward and itching with excitement to see who they extended the invitation the position of anguis #7(the former spot of the steel maiden) to.
so cool, i wanted to drag the fight just for the music
I am always nervous to fight McBurn and now I am really nervous how strong he's going to be. Sounds like he's going to be an absolute beast.
oh he is 700k hp in normal mod
He's not all that strong
@@mahiro-san6862 who knows, he didn't show all of hes power, he is fallen demon God, the end.
Without the sword we would've even screwed
@@JunKurosu he was holding back in cs4 and hajimari
I used Rean had him crit with True Helix
Had Fie constantly counterattack and follow up with vengeance linked with Rean
Emma casts super powerful arts
Have Juna as the slowest member and use Quick Star to accelerate
Then when he has 50% left use Musse
20% throw in Kurt and Ash for buffed S-crafts and have Rean finish him off with his wicked new S-Craft
I blasted my TV for this fight!
Imagine starting a boss fight in Cold Steel 3/4 with Emma in your party without her having 200 CP. Did you not learn that she has the best S-Craft in the series from how OP Grail Sphere and Zero Field were? And hers is *better* than those!
Just equip her with Emblem MQ, and you're pretty much guaranteed to have 200 CP for her S Craft.
And yes, her S Craft is crazy good. There's a reason why she's a mandatory member for this fight.
Emma is pretty much the Anti-McBurn her Brave Order makes your team absorb pretty all the attack he use against you, and her S-Craft block his, really McBurn is Emma's bitch XD.
Her S Craft is a Godsend
While protected I got to focus on dealing out damage
(Fie? Evasion Tank anyone?)
@@brahmantyoihsan5938 Ehh, you can beat McBurn, even on Nightmare, if you spam Chrono Burst.
a remix of The Enforcer.. nice
McBurn is too op for the universe
LITERALLY apparently. XD
My evade tank Crow made the battle and the battle theme pretty relaxing to me. Just couldn't believe Crow pulled through!!
Strange that they didn't decide to use the enforcer theme for other enforcer battles in the ToCS series, would've been nostalgic for players who played the Sky games.
If its anything like this it is a shame as this track is only heard once in all four ToCS games and its brilliant. It definitely fits fighting McBurn's demon form.
McBurn goes *HADOKEN*
McBro's Theme
MCBURN
I feel sorry for those who hear this theme without knowledge of the Liberl Arc.
Can anyone find this on Spotify??
I guess you did find it, but just in case, it's 'Enforcer' on Super arrange Sky FC + SC Album
This guy belongs in ninja gaiden universe not zemuria 🤣 . Still Ballar AF tho
Well, he did come from outside Zemuria. :)
He's supposed to be otherworldly compared to typical Trails enemies
Amazing theme and game, just wish it was harder. When you get Emblem normal enemies become nothing and boss battles are not hard to begin with even on Nightmare
For people who think it's easy, I always suggest they to look for SoftBrilliant Difficulty/Balance Mod. It makes the game much more challenging and keep the fun at the same time.
@@GUSRG didnt play CS 1, but CS 2 was challenging to me since your resources to fight are less, CS 3 more at the first half and CS4 not so much. I enjoyed playing all of them anyway.
CS4 was the only one I played Nightmare on and yeah it wasn’t too bad. The hardest part of it is the boss fights in the first act that have a turn limit for bonus AP, but even then that only matters if you care about getting an S rank for the chapters. Winning within certain turns was tough and took some strategizing, but after the first act it never comes back and it’s smooth sailing from there.
That's why playing with a difficulty mod is the way to go
Best track in the game, back from when the trails music was great
I've never read so much stupidity
@@tantofaz7580 Ditto, as if the Trails series has gotten worse over time
Trails in the Sky was a good series, but I feel like Cold Steel surpassed it's predecessor
Well except for merciless savior
Though I’m biased towards sky 2
