Cheers mate! 😎 I haven't tried this one yet.. but it seems sort of do-able.. (compared to nightmare time trials like Nurburgring and the Aston Martin at Goodwood 😄)
This one is definitely more doable than those other two. Saying that, it’s not easy getting this car round the slow speed corners in sector 2 (or maybe it’s just me who struggles 😂) Good luck with the time trial mate 👍🏼

Finally back from a huge work task several days ago to these online TT. When I see the Jeddah guy on P1, I know it's the cheater who can only be the number 1 when he can exploit downshifting. Really don't understand why the developers have to put something like this in an online TT again. I wouldn't mind if they do that on some other single players event, or offline TT, but online ones are really demotivating. Nevertheless, I think this TT let me learned a bit more about the track and I still hope to get within top 10% ranking, which seem a bit unlikely by the looks of things.

I touched on it in my video that I won’t abuse the gears on these lap guides now as I just don’t agree with it.
This is one of those things which you would think is an easy fix for the developers but they probably have 1000 other more pressing issues to deal with soo doubt this would ever get fixed.
ACC and F1 have the downshift protection as so I do t see why PD can’t implement it as well.
Don’t get me wrong, the fast guys would still be fast without it but it would just be more realistic.
If I ever get a big enough voice on YT I will call for these kinds of changes but until then I think we will just have to live with it.

@@PM10Racing yes the top guy clearly knows where to brake and how much to brake better than i do, this is definitely something to work on when im driving AT shift on a high powered low grip car. Alas, i really have much less time for this online TT as i would still love to give Nurburgring a final push today (and i made some improvements here and there with TCS off yesterday) but i hardly think i can put everything together by the deadline, and added to the time constraints is the MGS master collection haha
@@stormmeansnowork whatever you decide to spend your time on, whether it be GT7 or Metal Gear Solid, just make sure it’s enjoyable buddy.

@@PM10Racing I know about the deadline and had another run on it just now, still feeling tired and out of focus from the work duties, and I don't think I can put together a good lap, but am happy that the optimal time for the runs I had (with 0 TCS, weak CS) eventually caught up with my current best time.
On the other hand, the experience from MGS inspired a very crazy idea - I wonder what would happen for controller users if they are forced to play the game with the left and right side of the controller swap around... I know there's a way we can map the controller buttons somewhere and will give that a try one day......
@@stormmeansnowork switching the controls around would be like learning to walk all over again I imagine ! Years of muscle memory all down the pan 😂
Try it mate and post it if you can do it.
On the driving front, gradually learning to drive without the assists will make you a better driver no doubt, even though you will be slower at first.
You’ve given this TT a really good effort and sometimes we hit our limits and can’t do any more. Well done on giving it a good go and enjoy the 2m credits when they come through 👍🏼
Thx again for a great video. Just a question: would you mind saving your best lap so we can load your ghost? I think this helps a lot to see where you lose speed. But of course there are other players we can watch so no big deal ;)

I always save my replays but unless it’s a top 10 time I don’t think it shows as a replay on the leaderboard.
I’m more than happy to share it on my GT7 profile gallery so you can see it there but I’m not sure if you can load it as a ghost.
However, I’m not an expert on the inner workings of GT7 so if the above is incorrect then please let me know so I can learn something 😂
