The stylus with the eraser is 130 dollars, or you can get one without an eraser for 80 dollars, the keyboard is 100 dollars, the case is 130 dollars for the book version, but the put away case is 80 dollars. Next, the chargers, both are 19 dollars for the USB C to USB A and the USB C to USB C which seems overpriced. Lastly, the tips. The 9 tips are 14 dollars and the 25 tips are 34 dollars.

i bought it last week and i am returning it, the battery life is no where near what they say it is, in just 1 hour of notes it was at 80% and the pages are way to zoomed in and you cannot set them to stay unzoomed. went and bought a samsung s6 lite for only 200$ and came with pen, remarkable charge 120 for the pen. not worth the price

did you try the kindle scribe as an alternative? i use one and its amazing so far. atleast the battery life is not an issue for my use which is 5 hours of use age daily and recharge is done every 4 days.

The problem, as a college student, is that you end up using too much paper. My advice is just that, when you go buy a pc for work, choose one with a touch screen so that you can also use it to take notes

I wish I had something like this at school as it would have made my backpack much lighter and wouldn't have to buy a new notebook each year. But I got a Samsung Galaxy S6 Lite Tablet that does all of this and more for the same price. I can see these being essential if they were around $70-100.

I use it every day to read academic papers and take notes on, battery life has been good in my experience (compared to iPad, for example). I don’t think I would get it now though because of the subscription…

My essentials that beats this gimmick any day of the week: - Single subject notebooks, pens & mechanical pencils along with refills when it comes time for linear & Cornell notes along with grouping & organizing info before creating mind maps - A4 paper for those mind maps (the way Justin Sung does it) & lots of pencils (multiple colors + no. 2) & erasers because no mind map is 100% perfect - Dotted grid notebook for daily scheduling and habit management - Cheap pocket notebooks for short term experiments and field guide observations along with recommendations to "check out this or that thing" - Binders (temporary) & Manila folders stored in a cardboard box (more long term) for notes/maps in the zettelkasten system - 5x8 cards to make flashcards only for isolated info (way less cards to make than you think)
I've been using this for a yearz and it is a TOTAL life changer! Still to this day, people say it's so cool, and love it, and all my teachers accept these notes, being that I can always email it to them, or print it out! People also always say "Is that an iPad," so beware for harassment on that subject

The battery lasts me 2 weeks before charging, and I use it every day in every class in school. I can upload books, pictures, or music pieces to it when I want to. And there's even an app to control all of it, uploading things, deleting things, and editing things. Trust me, this is a real life saver, and after using it for a year, I can confirm that statement!

My first real tablet was Microsoft’s hybrid, surface studio. The pencil also erased by flipping it. It was… amazing. And then two months after warranty expired it broke down from a manufacturing issue and they wouldn’t repair it without paying $750.
And it is cheaper than most options I was looking into and ipad pro 11 in and with 512gb I believe it was a little over a thousand dollars as the cheapest before adding the pen and keyboard. And laptops while good for most things have the set back of being heavy and needing a lot of space in a bag and the screen if you don’t have blue light protection can overstrain your eyes if you are working on it for too long. Especially for people who do not have brown eyes.
What I don’t like about this company, is that if they market it as “The Digital Notebook” and “Replace your notebooks and printouts with the only tablet that feels like paper.” (Right in their website)… shouldn’t the stylus come included… 🤔

Just get a binder. It has a built-in folder, you can move and remove paper and hold on to the same binder for years. And 90% of binders are less than $10!
In my academic journey i have noticed that most students dont take notes but just open their ipads and laptops and play the same slide as the ones shown at the front of the class, which is pretty clearly visible. So in the end almost all students if not all are just pretending to "pay attention and take important notes". Hell some dont go beyond their home screen and keep their devices running.
I think the Apple Pencil + IPad combo is still better. I love my iPad so much. I’m on it more than my phone sometimes and it works great w the Apple Pencil. Plus you can download a calculator and search up stuff all on the iPad. Can you do either of those on the remarkable?? No :/

Had it for a week. Really bad precision, the "ink" when writing didn't align with the actual tip of the pen. It was very close, but not perfect.

A big show stopper for me is that you need a payed account to get your notes to and from the cloud. So I bought the Boox note air 3c instead.

I think the Apple Pencil + IPad combo is still better. I love my iPad so much. I’m on it more than my phone sometimes and it works great w the Apple Pencil. Plus you can download a calculator and search up stuff all on the iPad. Can you do either of those on the remarkable?? No :/
