This is extremely helpful! I'm starting my own Vtuber journey and admittedly I was struggling with getting my model to work the way I wanted to. You touched on a lot of things that were giving me issues, so THANK YOU for making this video. It's really helped me out!

thank you soo much for showing off these settings! i couldn't figure out how to make eye blinking symmetrical so it was a great tip to use the same input for both eyes. this helped me fix heaps of issues i was having!

This was actually really helpful since I was stop the sway and tilt instead. Was almost pulling my hair out. Plus I didn't know about the eyes so that was helpfull too!

hello! This tutorial is really helpful, can u please do a tutorial on how to make the avatar or insert the avatar in the app🙏🏻 I really wanna know how many layers I should Make for each part of the body and what apps that I could use to make it, stuff like that! Anyways love your so much!

@@ariru- I don’t think they have a video on moving art from procreate and clip art to the app. Isn’t 2D cubism suppose to be PSD photoshop files?
@@Kats9tails the app in the video is vtube studio so i assume they have a model
already and want to know how to import it to vtube studio! vtube studio isn’t teaching live2d so it doesn’t show you how to move the PSD but it’s a drag and drop
@@Kats9tails You can export a Procreate file as a PSD in the settings, you simply export as PSD and then import to Live2D Cubism same as any other PSD file.

This was a great help thank you. Only question I have is how do you toggle an wink expression? Or do you need a rigger to do that?
basically you make the eye close into its own expression, its not necessary for the rigger to do that! i mention that you can add expressions in the live2d viewer briefly but thats where all expressions are made!
Thanks! I think the only issue im having right now is my body doesnt move much at all like yours, with the movement off. I definltey want movement off, it was horrible LOL. So that helps a lot!
This was so incredibly helpful, thank you!! I had one question - when you open up the Live2D viewer, is that something in Vtube Studio? Or is that a different program? I didn't realize I could add parameters that didn't come automatically, so I'm excited to play with it and see what else I might be able to get my model to do!

my vtube model was working fine till yesterday but tdy the character is not animating when I come out of the settings menu. When I am in the settings menu it animates when I close it, it stays still.
Your voice is so soothing, also I’m having issues with my mic I use a dynamic mic which is for close range so only way to fix that for mouth tracking is get a new mic maybe you have some tips
this is late but u could actually angle ur phone camera/ camera to be able to see ur mouth! i use a close range mic and sit about 1-5 inches away; i just recalibrate my phone in the new position it sits in to see my face so it resets the vtuber model and you still get the range from facial tracking
is there any way to increase the speed of auto-breathing? i have breathing parameter set but it's like my character is always taking deep slow breath.
im not to sure about this either im trying to find out too

Quick question uhh a vtube model can it be graphically intense?
Or does it need to be Lower poly lower texture to not lag others computers?
sorry for the late reply ! i do believe model size affects live2d but probably not vtube studio? other than load time; i think lag is mostly based on ur computer strength to handle vtube studio and ur wifi connection

go to the page/ tab/ with the play button sign and that movie “action” shaped icon! it’s after the parameter icon, there should be the expressions toggles there

have you had any troubles with eyebrows moving ?
i have a "range" of movment programed and live2d but it only moves up 1 or 2 pixels in vtube studio.
you can make the params more sensitive by messing with the ranges in vtube studio and also check in your live2d viewer how much it’s tsupposed to actually move ? + check the parameter values in the viewer in case it’s different from vtube studios!

Thanks for this! The problem I have is that I close my eyes half way a lot, which translates to fully closed in vtube studio. I've messed with the settings for days and searched the internet for help but no one else seems to have this issue. Any advice?
Have you messed with both sides of the settings to test the reactivity? the left scale and the right scale?
@@ariru- You're quick! :D I've messed with the amounts under Eye Open Left/Right. Would it be under something else?
@@TheChaosWrath That’s the only place I can think of, The left side is what your eye is doing; and the right is the way the parameter in live2d is reacting, make sure that the detection is working and try to adjust from there maybe?
How do you make model
i got a question. is there any solution to make the software keep tracking even tho i change window. whenever i change window the software wont track me anymore, so i need to keep the window up all the time

I do have a question, though, do you by any chance know how to make the arm parameters slightly bend the arm with a head movement? I've seen a couple of model showcases do stuff like that - but with legs. I haven't figured out how to make that work though so any help would be deeply appreciated :,)

you can create a new parameter input, find the arm bend and place that to the out put; then for the input attach the head x or y or z!

does anyone know if the webcam version supports the "shoulder dance" parameter settings?
face tracking is the only tracking that i beleive the phone or webcame uses; the idea is that if your head turns one way the parameter will act accordingly, so by that it should work !

You can upload the psd to your google drive and download it from there
You can also email it to yourself

there’s a steam update where you just need a webcam now ! a phone is preferred and you can read about the app in its documentation!
So my eyes are pretty small bc I'm an asian so vtube studio think that I'm closing my eyes all the time and make my model close their eyes and it also very... blinky like too much blinking, please how do I fix this
you can adjust the values on the right to make it stabilize at a high value if u want ! try to play with the parameter numbers on both sides as well! if you want you can do auto blink and not track ur eye open
does anyone know how to save these settings once you've adjusted it? mine keep reverting back once i close the program :c
hm they normally save everytime for me, unless the model was a newly saved one that was imported?
Vtube studio is only for pc?
you will need a PC to stream it to your streaming software
Does this works for mobile device?
you connect a phone to the laptop if you are streaming, the app also works on its own !

My model doesn't do that really cute "sway" if I reverse my X params. :< If it does do it I can't tell. my model doesn't "lean" far at all like yours.
it’s likely that if u are already maxing out your parameters it was not rigged to have a exaggerated tilt movement

check the camera settings, there’s a “flip camera” toggle at the bottom

@@remademei9200 ? sorry i don’t quite understand..? but maybe this will help? there’s a button toggle in the settings page that will “start connection” that works in conjunction with your phone, vtube studio the app has a helpful video for starting it up! (or the documentation)
