Days gone by was the greatest MLP holiday song ever! I've turned it on at Christmas and Nye trip in Calgary last year!! It was very emotional and epic.
Such a powerful song, one that brought back so many memories. This will be one song that will be shared throughout the ages, especially since it reminds us that even though our loved ones cross those plains on their times ends, they will always be by our side and never forgotten. I have been SO looking forward to seeing you react to this. Really happy to see you uploading again and that you didn't have to set your videos to For Kids, thus making it impossible to comment on them. The only gripe I had with the video was Sugar Belle wasn't included, but since I knew how long it took to make and when they started it, I understand why she wasn't there. It really hits hard, especially for anyone who saw it after the finale, since Granny Smith, Grand Pear and Goldie Delicious are no longer around by then. Though it hit me even harder than I thought because thinking about them and the lyrics reminded me about how it's been several years since my grandparents died and that our Christmas Family Get Togethers just haven't been the same since.
@Autumn Breeze I feel so sorry for you and your family about that and my grandpa died on Memorial Day like three years ago or so, still, "Days Gone By" can give us those feels no matter what time of the year it is just like "See You Again"

You know it really is great to find someone on the internet who actually believes in the magic of friendship and really cares about it cuz there's an awful lot of ppl who think that true friendship is just some corny thing for little kids just shut up about Friendship and a awful lot of ppl are being like the ponies in that episode where the friendship journal got published (I forgot what it was called ) just completely missing the friendship part of my little pony. I still have hope there are still ppl out there who believe in friendship like you and me and I'm just jolly that you learned friendship from the show just like I did :)
The use of woodwinds in this song is reminiscent of 1997's Titanic. Still a magnificent creation even after MLP: FiM had officially ran its course. Keeps the stories going.

And I would REALLY appreciate the feedback! Let me know if you're interested. My best examples are from my more recent PMVS. If you'd like me to narrow them down, I'd recommend "Happier", "Eternal", "Beings", or "King of the Clouds". Most of them are also shortened versions of the original song, so if you'd like to react to more than one, they should be short enough to fit together.
