I got a 2011 G37 and the Nissan engineers thought it would be a good idea to put cardboard oil gallery gaskets deep inside the motor fastened down with Phillips head screws which aren't torqued. They also placed the water pump inside the motor so that when it starts to leak or goes bad water mixes with the oil and destroys the motor.
I'm having to tear down the front end of my car to replace everything that Nissan FU on at my own expense and time.

Sounds like you had the porous engine block issue. My Q50 RS did. Was able to get a new engine and 2 new turbo's under warranty.
That’s what I thought but they tore the motor down, it was a cracked head and block, I got new turbos when I got the car in the beginning because they blew on the way home when I bought It😅
As soon as Renault bought Nissan in the early 2000's the quality of Nissan vehicles started to go down. I'm convinced Nissan vehicles are starting to scrap the bottom of the barrel these days right up there with GM, VW, Fiat, Chrysler, and several other brands.

😅 no the motor went out and i barely put 2k miles, the turbos blew the same day on the way home…..my mom drove it home because I had my other car. The original owner beat the ever life out of it
