The Château de Fougères in Northwestern France

The Château de Fougères was a wonderful stop on our way to Saint-Malo. The construction of the castle, which lies today mostly in ruins, started in the 12th century. As can be seen from the attached video, many of its buildings and turrets are still standing and can be entered and climbed. Thank you to Crystal for providing some photos and videos for this post.
