This is Susan Flannery’s greatest performance of the whole show and I think some of the best work of the writers. It could have been very melodramatic and cheesy but she delivers it perfectly. A stunner honestly

When Ridge first married Taylor and Brooke thought she was carrying Ridge’s baby and was late stopping the wedding that was Stephanie started to turn on her, and even more so after Brooke showed up at the reception, told Stephanie she was pregnant and that she would gain from Ridge and Taylor not being together. I Loved when Stephanie said “it’s over, it’s finished and now I’m going to make sure you are out of the business” I totally agree and then Bell Jr. making it seem like Stephanie manipulated Ridge his whole life...GET REAL! He will NEVER, EVER BE THE CREATIVE WRITING GENIUS OF HIS PARENTS!

Stephanie is a hypocrite just like Taylor. Both are goody two shoes and look down their noses at Brooke like she is dirt. Brooke has done some things that I don't agree with on the show but she never deserved Stephanie's disdain. Her and Taylor have both made mistakes like when Taylor slept with that doctor when they got trapped at big bear. i guess that was just a wonderful sacrifice on her part. stephanie has been sneaky and conniving where Brooke is concerned. at least Brooke does her stuff out in the open while stephanie sneaks around. I miss her on the show because she made things lively but I am sick of people downing Brooke and putting stephanie on a pedestal of savior.
Susan ONeal Brooke took her husband away from her and cheated on him with Ridge and then went after Thorne. As a mother and a wife she has a right to be angry.
I have never been a Susan Flannery fan. And I kept up with B&B here and there just because of the tie-in to Y&R. And I haven’t really liked the character of Stephanie Forrester. But...this scene changed all of that. Susan Flannery went beyond talent and skill in this scene to another level completely. Every look, every reaction, and every line delivered by her is better than an all-time classic. This should be showed to every aspiring actor as motivation for what a perfectly carried scene looks like. Having seen this and having come to appreciate Flannery because of this powerful, powerful scene, I am not foolish enough to believe she didn’t have the same impactful moments many times over during her stint as Stephanie Forrester. Unfortunately for me, I just missed them. What an amazing actress and what an amazing talent she is! This was just incredible.
Chris, you should find the scene where Thorn tells Stephanie that Eric has been cheating with and has a child by Brooke. This the looks on her face and she cycles through emotions and a horror, you just need to find that episode. This one was great also. I like this episode because she really tells it like it is. It's so easy to blame Brooke for all the cheating but Eric, Ridge and Thorne let it happen and they willingly participated
Stephanie is the only person who sees Brooke 4 what she really is; the Forrester men have always been blind when it comes to Brooke. Susan Flannery is greatly missed on B&B!!
I don't miss that felonious, violent bitch. Stephanie projected all her own vileness onto Brooke because she was jealous. Jealous that Brooke was everything she wasn't: beautiful, sexy and sweet. And a self-made woman, who made millions for FC through her business smarts and chemistry degree, while lazy Stephanie didn't do jack for FC...just sat on her fat ass. She had no problem spending those millions Brooke made, either.

In this thespian masterpiece, Stephanie summarized the primary theme of this entire soap opera: Brooke’s continuous sweeping through Stephanie’s family like a vicious, unrelenting plague. Brooke had a hold on the hearts of the Forrester men: Eric, Ridge, and Thorne, which was a never ending source of agony for Stephanie who only longed for some family normalcy and peace.
It was probably fitting that Stephanie’s time on the show ended with Stephanie finally coming to grips with who Brooke was and making some sort of peace with it. In the end, I don’t think Brooke was a malicious person, but she was a person who followed her heart, no matter who got hurt in the process.
From what it seemed, Stephanie was the only logical-thinking person on this show. Her sons and husband always thought with the wrong head. I personally think Stephanie’s character should’ve just moved away, instead of dying.
If Stephanie’s father hadn’t thought with the wrong head, there would be no Stephanie😂😂😂
the best speech Stephanie ever gave and one of the most riveting scenes...she tells it like it is...truths that hurt and realities that bite...all of them let the past be in the past and jumped into bed with one another..only stephanie stayed true to her only love ever and to her principles..

Apart from the fact that S.Flannery's acting here is a masterclass example, of all the lines in this superbly written Stephanie-diatribe, the most poignant of all is when she looks Bridget in the eyes and tells her "that's almost unbearable to hear!" that she forgave (and moved on) her mother sleeping and having a baby with her husband and wanting her to raise it together!!..And she finishes it off by saying "you know the difference between us?You pretend that it still doesn't hurt and i can't!I had a family i cherished and a life that i loved and suddenly it was all blood and ashes!.."..Just look Bridget's face how crushed by the truth she looks because deep down in her heart she knew how truthful Stephanie's words rang...Who here in real life would ever forgive a mother like Brooke who'd do such a thing to her own child..and if they did it'd leave a wound that would never really heal...

Hypocrite, bridget shouldn't forgive her mother but she forgave her husband and children for their indecent acts. She failed as a mother and wife. But most importantly as a human being. In all her rantings she forgot her cherished family CHOSE to get involved with Brooke. Family loyalty should mean more but it didn't. Son wanting father's wife. Brother wanting brother's wife and on and on and it wasn't all about brooke. Her family wasn't perfect. Thorne had a deep seeded dislike for ridge because she stephanie favored Ridge. Her relationship with her daughters were also strained. She built her family on a lie. And was the one to uproot the logan family because she do desperately wanted eric. I guess brooke was her Karma

Owen is HER husband not yours and that's what Bridget couldn't handle. She might have had the baby but she didn't have his heart.

No she didn't. And your goddess Taylor of the golden crotch actually DID screw her way through a family -- TWO families: Eric and ALL his sons (including Rick), and the Logans. She also screwed most of the same men as Brooke did. She also screwed a grandson (Rick) and a grandfather (Stephen Logan). She also, in one year, -- 2006 -- screwed as many men (including "men she didn't even know" when she was out cruising bars) as Brooke had in her ENTIRE LIFE.
That did not happen til after Bell jr took over. Bell Sr never Taylor like because that was never in her character. Brooke was always like that. Also Brooke did sleep her way through 3 families. Spencers, Forrester and Monroe.

So the entire show props Brooke character up like she's the only one that matters.....

She hated brooke because she hated her mother whose man she stole and gave a child that wasn't his. And did her best to destroy that family because of her insecurity talk about that

Stephanie is right. Brooke has done some really bad things in her life, yet everyone seems to forgive and forget. I remember that when Eric found out about Deacon and Brooke's affair, he blamed it all on Deacon and went to Brooke to see if she was OK - not Bridget. Eric, Ridge et al are blinded by their admiration for Brooke that they forget every bad thing she's done. Any true mother would want to rid her family of someone like Brooke.

I´m suprised that no one until this day hasn´t even tried to kill her or something like that after all the shit she´s done.
