I was sitting on the sidewalk in front of the NBC affiliate in Cleveland playing my guitar for spare change. Two great big black limousines pulled up. Cassius Clay got out of the back seat. He was one of the most imposing men I've ever seen in my life. He looked huge to me and he stopped. "What you doing today?" he asked as he shook my hand. His hand was 2 to 3 times as big as mine. Naturally, I was flustered and I said, "I just love you, Cassius." He was one of my heroes. He laughed and the other men laughed and he said, "The name is Muhammed Ali now." Then they all went inside. Maybe somebody could get his DNA off his mouthpiece and we could clone him. The world needs a lot more Muhammad Ali's. He was the greatest boxer in history imo without a doubt and one of the greatest figures of the 20th Century.
