Bob is a musical genius, writing all of his own songs and has written for others. My fave Bob Seger songs are Like A Rock and Roll Me Away (a great driving song)

Bob plays the piano and he probably still does. He did have luscious hair even when it turned silver and he wears shorter hair now. He is an amazing talented man.
Nice reaction. Bob is old school rock. Try against the wind and like a rock. Bob was very versatile and wrote many different kinds of songs.
Seger's ballads speak truth. Even back when I was in my early 20's this song spoke to my soul. Ballads like this one and others are the gospel of life.

Roll me away, against the wind, travel'n man, old time rock and roll. There are too many to name - it's a deep rabbit hole of music. As to the style of genre of music, I would say rock, maybe even southern rock , the problem is that you haven't heard any of his fast songs or rock style songs. He's definitely rock though, you'll see.

It's pronounced SEE-ger. And he is just plain rock n' roll with occasional other leanings, but he rarely strays far.
