Loved this! So pleased Nat has someone with potential this year.
he was incredible!
He was the best on Friday night in my view. Overall this year there are some very strong contenders amongst the boys. Personally I think Greg, Danny, and Will can go al the way. Really looking forward to seeing more brilliant dances from Greg and Danny.
Really good first dance for somebody with no performing background. Greg seems smart enough to pick the techniques up in time.Promising.
@GOSMGR1 is it me or does Greg look sexually attractive in blue
Natalie definitely is the female version of Anton in this show. I am so so happy she has a dancer with potential, her last was with Scott Maslen!
On the full show, did anyone else hear Natalie say "FUCK YEAH", when coming up the stairs to get the scores! Ha!
shes Australian she cant help it lol
DONT SWARE
Shazia Parvaiz who
This was a really good dance for the first official episode of the show I'm just waiting for scd observers comment it makes my day!
Plus Greg can jump extremely high since Natalie is also pretty tall
I can't wait for Claudius dance she's taking a huge risk by doing backflip in heels hopefully it goes to plan!
Hi there! 😀
Would love to see Natalie go all the way again.
Well done to any male viewers who have successfully spotted that athlete Greg Rutherford is in this clip. I've watched it three times and still not seen him.
I saw him at the start, but then Natalie's skirt got hitched up and he faded from view.
Good god that guy is attractive!!!!
it's distracting
@@roter13I'm starting to feel attracted to Greg. He probably doesn't realize how much hes turning straight women and us gay men on
Love Greg!!!!! Xxxx
they should have been marked 12/10
jadore
He definitely has natural talent, but it was lacking in precision and energy towards the end. However, I'm glad Natalie finally has someone good. 6.5/10
Sean Bragg who did Natalie have last year?
Oliver Miller Ainsley Harriot, and Tim Wonacott the year before
James Laverty thanks
@@olivermiller7145i might be attracted to Greg in that blue shirt. His body is sexy
Finally Natalie has a partner that at least has potential as she deserves it.
But how typical for her that all the other celebrities have past dance experience
unlike Greg who's starting from scratch!
Naga doesn't have any dance experience...
It may well act in his favour if he's seen as the underdog and is otherwise an acceptable dancer. Does Rinder have dance experience? I could see the public having an appetite for a lighthearted winner after all the angst and contempo-wafting of Jay last year. And I say that as a Jay-fan.
phoebephoebo .sydney They might have a Jay Mk II winning, i.e. Danny...
got to love the overly tight pants
6 good night of dancing
good gerg
😀😀😀😀😀😀😀
🙂
I don't think there's an outfit that Nat doesn't look amazing in...
Greg has really good potential a lot of them do however if it takes 3 weeks to learn this dance there gonna have to work harder to learn it in one
during those three weeks they also teach them the basics of other dances and most dances have the same steps but in different order hence why the 3 weeks
Ok thank you
They said the wrong band in the description, this is wet wet wet's version of the song
7/10
Clever routine from Natalie doing virtually all of the jive content while Greg did little of it.
Erm, I respectfully disagree. They did a lot of side by side (jive content) and then mirroring (again, jive content). So basically whatever Natalie dances the jive steps, Greg did the same. Albeit he's far from polished, but he's doing the jive content. And for such a tall man and a complete novice, I think he gave it a good go. I was expecting Greg to be somewhat rubbish in latin, but his jive surprised me...
I'm thinking the Jive, Charleston and Quickstep aren't going to suit him - but I think he'll be good at the slower ballroom and maybe the Cha Cha and Samba..
***** I haven't seen him with the hip action yet, so I am not sure if he's going to do well with 'traditional' latin dances like cha-cha, rumba and samba...
Scd Observer Rumba is a bit iffy, but that's true for almost every celebrity - Kara, Cherie and maybe Rachel Stevens, are only people to ever give good Rumba.
Cha Cha can be saved, by having proper technique i.e. straight legs - even if you don't have the hip action. Samba's the same and can saved by having Bounce, even if you don't have the hip action.
Notice I deliberately left out the Salsa because it's all about hip action..
***** Well, Salsa (surprise!) is not traditionally the ten-dance in the ballroom genre. It's hip action is more open and less 'technical' than cha-cha (e.g. Jake did well in the Salsa, but his other latin dances weren't really that good, his Samba was a disaster in my opinion). Cha-cha walk is the most basic (and difficult) thing for celeb to do, and Jay did it marvellously last year and surprised me as it was his first dance. Jay's rumba was really, really good for a male celeb (and much better than even some female celebs), in fact the best male celeb's attempt at rumba I've seen in the entire series of SCD (yup, even Colin Jackson's rumba was dethroned by Jay)... The double-bounce of Samba looks deceptively easy but it's actually fiendishly difficult to master...
He's so damn attractive it's almost distracting, no? Great energy but he's really pigeon-toed and the flicks are horrible. Loads of potential though, even if it's probably only my third favourite out of the six (after Rinder and Lesley)
Well Greg is starting from scratch unlike all the other celebrities that have past dance experience.
I know Judge Rinder is this years 'darling' of all the mature aged 'fan girls' of Strictly but for me he comes across
as so calculated & fake.
I want nothing but for Natalie to lift that damn trophy this year, so for that alone I'm already fully supporting Greg here. Add that with loads of charisma and potential, he's easily my favourite contestant this year. That said, his Jive is anything but great here. I never predicted he'd be the bestest Jiver ever on this show (beating Scott Maslen) but I'm still disappointed here. At least they've gotten the Jive out of the way though, hopefully his next showing is a Ballroom that can really show his knacks.
Idk who you're referring to as those fans, but I enjoyed Rinder and was pleasantly surprised with his dancing. I enjoyed everyone bar Ore last night, who already managed to came across as one dimensional in a single episode.
