Good god. Is this footage sped up?? I've ridden this track a number of times, and even though I'm old and slow, some of these entry/exit speeds seem almost impossible given the steepness and consequences in a few of those sections. Well done, guys. My mind is blown.
I watched this video before my first ever visit to Thredbo thinking I could do this at a comparable speed. Took me abt 15 mins to get down rolling over all the rocks. Huge respect
This is the best uncut follow cam video I have ever seen. The riding is surgical and appears effortless with fluidity and energy management. The trail is a rider's dream. Seriously amazing in every aspect including the angle and lighting.
Honestly the high speed flow and bike control is just amazing. The follow cam really shows how the rider navigates the course. I'm going to rewatch this as much as I can to try to learn from it.

If we ever ran a world cup on it, Brosnan would be a certainty to win it. Peaty, Minnaar, Luca Shaw and Amaury Pierron have all come out to race it. He's won the Cannonball Festival DH race every year it has run! It's an awesome track that's been around a long time. I've heard rumours about Thredbo planning to build a new track on a steeper part of the hill to run a world cup at some point in the future. Of anywhere in Australia, it has the best potential for an amazing world cup track. We can only live in hope!

That run was nuts! All those rock gaps. Nearly 6 minutes long too.
One of the tracks I ride is around 7:30 it’s awful, and it has quite a few flat sections.

I think is the camera settings or stabilisation, seems always that he is landing on on pillow.

That is a proper DH track, not a second to breathe. You have to constantly work the bike, jump, lean, pop, drop, etc. Perfect.
