I’ve been to the DLR’s in San Antonio, Texas (on the RiverWalk) and Boston, Massachusetts - the insults are just the same, but the food is pretty good! Really funny, when I was in Boston, a couple came in and almost immediately walked out because, I heard them say, “I’m not going to be spoke to like that...!” - they really didn’t get the point of the place...😂!

It's cool how they don't use the rudeness gimmick as a facade to cover up other flaws. That food looks genuinely good on its own terms, and there's no backhanded trickery to make you lose the challenge as some other 'less rude' restaurants pulled.
Dick's has some really good food. It's pricey, but the novelty of the experience makes it all worth it.

A 14 year old freshman in high school, our family of 7 plus our two aunts and grandparents ate at while on vacation at Myrtle Beach. I only realized after what the hats were supposed to be. One of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had.
This is probably one of my favorite episode yet.

I love places like this. I remember a place that had an all you can eat Italian buffet and when i went up for seconds a guy on the mic called me a tub of shit. My table erupted. Im 6'3, 225 and a 100 pound waitress destroyed me all night. I loved it.

I will never forget the day my 2 friends in Chicago took me to the one there, as a fellow Englishman it was a great experience. I worked in restaurants for 20 years and wished I’d have been able to speak to certain customers like that lol

This was great! What a strangely original take on a restaurant theme. The whole thing is a joke, yet the food is actually taken seriously. Haha. I also expected the food to be bad on purpose as a part of the theme, but I guess that would be one step too far for any restaurant. (Haven't eaten there myself, but I'm trusting Beard's opinion here)

That seemed like one of the easier repeat jokes they have in their repertoire. I know almost all of them are, the tip joke and silverware ones probably comes out anytime there’s a foreign accent.
We used to have them in their thousands here in the UK during the 1960s/1970s. At least this waitress has charm and a great personality.

Some restaurants that have started to simply pay a higher regular wage often bake that price into the items and they'll cost more.
