Thank you !!!!! I just purchased two after watching this video! One for my truck and car. I have to put my car in the shop. Not sure how much the damage is yet. Squirrels had nuts and acorns ALL over my engine !!!! I bought a hand held vacuum cleaned everything. I hope these work AND I hope the cost to fix the coolant line they chewed into causing leaks isn't extremely costly. THANKS again. I used the amazon link in your bio, hope you get a percentage! I'm going to also see if I have vehicle comprehensive insurance to help pay for this . If not I sure will be adding it.

FYI-- I have 1 of these in my vehicle after having a squirrel tried to use my vehicle as its house, a $1300 repair..... I used other products,, Irish Spring shavings, Moth balls, Fresh Cab, & Loraffe battery powered repellent installed all of this after a whopping $1300 repair cost. the battery device I just installed a month ago, so what am I surprised at- is the squirrel did it again. I just got it back today, more chewed wires- $220. It is great to have all that repellent stuff but you also have to move your vehicle. Mine would sit in the same spot for up to a week I am retired so I have no place to go on a daily basis- and that is also what is required-- turn your vehicle on daily- let it get HOT,,, move it by 2 feet,, the next day,, turn it on, let it get hot- move it back by 2 feet- or move it to another spot & I got lazy with that thinking all that rodent products would keep them away- might deter them a bit- but not permanently away. Rodents will use stationary objects to build their nest which only happens during pregnancy- early spring to late summer. The lady below me has a 2022 Olds & they got her, $10,000 lucky for her, that her car warranty covered part of it- & her car insurance covered the rest, well I dont have that kind of coverage....

Not seeing what to do if you have a hybrid engine where the starter battery is located in the back of the car.

Hello. For hybrid cars, where access to the battery might be challenging, we recommend using a wireless battery-operated rodent repellent. This versatile device can be placed in various parts of your car, including the engine compartment, inside the passenger's compartment, and in the trunk. Its wireless design offers flexibility and ensures that rodents are deterred from all potential entry points.
