There's a great japanese brand that is rarely talked about called Ceracolla, they are like the Japanese CeraVe, all of their products are fragrance free and they all contain three types of ceramides, as well as cholesterol, phytosphingosine, and the humectants glycerine, collagen and hyaluronic acid.
They have a foaming cleanser, two toners - one for dry skin and one for oily skin, a milk, and two moisturisers - one for dry skin and a gel one for oily skin.
So what ever texture you prefer and what ever step in your routine you want to contain some ceramides, Ceracolla has got you covered.

There are tons of nice Japanese brands out there, I get so lost when I walk into Japanese stores around me, as can't read Japanese, it's a great hurdle, I take pics and then come home and search then find out some names then found out that for so called name is a side branch of Shiseido or Kai or another well known brand, it would be impossible for me to buy anything if they don't write the names in western letters.

You're really doing a great job. We save so much time on research and money on purchases we later regret. Sometimes you underestimate how much work it is when you are looking for good products and then have to examine the ingredients to find the right one. Many skincare youtubers simply jump on the current bandwagon and present what is currently popular in order to get as many clicks and subscriptions as possible. With her, I have the feeling that she really deals with it in depth. I really enjoy watching the videos. So thanks for the work, I mean I understand how much work it is in the background (apart from shooting the video, editing, etc. Kind regards from Europe (Austria 🇦🇹) 😊 Katrin

You may also consider the renewed version of cos de baha peptide cream (relatively new korean brand). It has ceramide np, three kinds of peptides: 1, 7 & 8. It has panthenol, niacinamide, squalene, adenosine, allantoin, caffeine and great plant extracts like aloevera, artemisia, greentea and licorice. It also has argan oil. Pretty inexpensive around $12+ for 45ml. And free from volatile alcohol/essential oils/fragrance.

I have acne prone skin which can be on the oily side but I’ve found with the central heating in colder months (and my recent over-exfoliation) I’ve needed more in terms of hydration. Thanks for pointing that out. I was only avoiding polyethylene when I found out my old cleansing balm contained it but didn't know about acrylates copolymer. Some other youtubers mentioned how they are in a liquid form so they are not as bad as microbeads but they still can't be removed from the water supply and not only do fish but humans end up ingesting these particles of plastic... It looks like the Zeroid Soothing cream and Pyunkang Yul Ato Cream are the only ones here that don't contain it. It's a shame since I really liked the Illiyoon.

My favorite ceramide cream is All Day Glow calming balance cream. It’s so underrated, like no one really talk about this brand. You would be surprised if you see the ingredient list, it’s got mugwort, cica, b5, green tea, licorice root, 5 types of ceramides, 5 types of hyaluronic acids, beta glucan, 8 types of peptides, and so on. Amazing on my dry skin. Check it out.

I do have the Mizon Snail Cream and the Black Snail Cream but I haven’t really started to use the latter yet. I recently picked up the Benton Deep Green Tea toner and lotion, hoping for the lotion to be light enough with my sunscreen. I’m curious about the Iunik Beta Glucan cream as well as the Mizon Hyaluronic Acid 100 as it’s got ceramides and cholesterol and I think fatty acids, though that’s a serum rather than a moisturizer. A friend is giving me her TO Squalane cleanser and NMF so I think that might have the right stuff. I’m really struggling with finding the right moisturizer and toner.
