Yes, mainly for the boning and nicer finish of the top :)

I put zippers in my corsets so I can get in and out of them
Zippers are great, I personally just really struggle installing them 😂
How did u put on the circles at the back? What’s that thing u used to hold down the circles? And how did u create a hole for the circle to fit in?
Do you mean the eyelets? I poke a whole using anything sharp I got at hand

It's not silly at all :) I was pinning it to myself just to adjust the darts and see the overall fit, so I just took the pins in the back out again to take it off :)

Is it possible to make a dress for this corset? I really want to make my first dress with a simple corset, something like this, but I don't how I can turn this into a dress. Help would be appreciated
Of course, although it would be easier if you make it a two piece set and just make a skirt in some matching fabric :)
I was thinking of a dress too. If I'm brave enough I might attempt it. I'm thinking of adding a gathered skirt, sandwiching the skirt between the front fabric and lining fabric
@@heidilottering364 its going to look gorgeous! Just bear in mind that the skirt will need a zipper or elastic so you can slip in and out :)

If I want to make this top for heavy breast, what's changes I need, from front top?
You don't necessarily need to make any changes as this isn't particularly designed for a smaller breast. The tie-up at the back will provide some extra versatility anyways. You could however always exaggerate the front darts to provide more room

Very cute, but I feel like I would have to make a lot of adjustments for my bust. I will try to find another pattern with more sizing options. I have a wool skirt that I would like to refashion into a corset top so it's a little like a vest. Love the zip ties as boning.
That sounds amazing! I'd love to see the corset you turn your skirt into! :)
There's always the option of a corset belt as well, which would exclude the bust and might make it easier :)
@recreatefulchannel so true. I wear an underbust corset as a back brace if I have to stand or walk more than 10-15 minutes without rest. It's disability awareness month here. 😉
The ready to wear corsets I have bought pushed the girls up to my chin because the torso was soon long for me. It was so funny. 🤭
