FYI: not a single one of us are complaining when these are longer than an hour. We want as much talkin giants content as possible.
Having Aaron Robinson and Allen Robinson on roster is causing huge confusion here in Chinatown.
What a d1ck. Lol. Arren Robinson will be just fine.
That’s creative icl
😂
Tyrod was better than Daniel Jones in this offense arguably in general too🤦🏻♂️
You definitely miss Tyrod until he gets hurt 2 games in and although it’s not something he can control but it’s something we have to account for. If our qb3 plays as much as the qb2 then we need a qb2 that has that availability
Well…. He CAN control it, cause it was always from him taking some massive hit while running ha 😅
He did it to himself 90% of the time
Tyrod won 2 games all year - most overrated backup QB ever.
He played the same as his scouting report out of Virginia Tech, he throws a good deep ball but he's very erratic short and mid range.
@@Matt90541 Tyrod is a better QB than DJ. Unfortunately, he's even more fragile than him.
Liked + subscribed + comment + patreon. It ain’t much but it’s honest work.
Legend! You’re the best
The odds DJ plays well and does Not get hurt is about 10%. Dabol will get Lock to make better decisions bc his plays r easy to read and 1 of our receivers should be open. Looking gwd to seeing Lock in preseason.
Not a stretch at all to think Lock makes more starts given DJ’s durability.
I want to see all different kinds of packages and rotations for the WRs, TEs, and RBs. I want to see Slayton and Hyatt splitting reps and even on the field at the same time.
Looking fwd to seeing Nabers, Hyatt, and slayton go deep leaving huge amount of open space underneath for Robinson , TEs, RBs and DJ. But WRs were on the top of separation last year and DJ didn't see them, even when he had 3 secs. But with better line and Nabers he should be successful.
With the fastest defender likely covering Hyatt and the best defender likely covering Nabers, I can see Slayton becoming a receiver who may end up getting most of the long pass plays and Wan Dale becoming a receiver who may end up getting most of the short pass plays. A lot of good things can happen because of the Nabers draft pick, so I'm hoping the Giants keep Slayton around for the upcoming season on a restructured/extended contract. Besides, I believe Slayton has earned it.
If we don't have injuries, it's unlikely we'll see those three receivers on the field at the same time. (Although, if we want our fastest option, we could put Hyatt in the slot, I suppose). But Nabers, Hyatt, and Wandale seem like a pretty scary receiving Corps😅. If Jones can stay healthy and the offensive line can block... this whole narrative about Jones is about to change. Laugh at me now. But you'll be laughing with me a year from now.
@@davyanonymous9674😂😂😂😂😂 😅😅😅😅😅 😂😂😂😂😂 😅😅😅😅😅.
Been waiting on this upload all morning
Last year those first 6 games were brutal. I thought the OL was so bad we didn't have enough time to throw the ball down field. Them tyrod came in and started fing slinging it, it was then I was done with fucking DJ, let's not talk about how devito came in slinging it too
Dj was slinging it when he first started too. After getting killled weekly, not so much. Taking hits adds up on these QBs. Why didnt Taylor take us to the playoffs?
Im not even a huge DJ fan but seeing that we have impossible situations kill these QBs and its not gonna make much difference who's playing if we dont fix their environment.
Tyrod is injury prone but it was fun watching him sling the ball.
I would say pretty damn worried
Can't say I blame you.
Last year, the offensive line started the season with their worst performance in years, and that's saying a lot.
Agreed. Neal is the downfall of this line as he was last year.
Interesting discussion, guys.
I’m glad I did
I love our WR room... We just have "The Island of Misfit Quarterbacks".
DJ is fine if he has an O-line that does better than 26th in the league.
At this point, I'm more worried about all the injuries Danny has piled up from all the years of garbage offensive lines. He's tough, but not Eli tough.
Lock was a 4-5 star prospect coming out of high/school into college and a borderline first rounder.
DJ went #6 overall and is a playoff winning QB.
I think we have a deep QB room.
@@Matt90541 Deep QB room.
@@thomascolbert2687 DJ is fine. Do you mean you're attracted to him. Because if you're talking about on the field. DJ is far from fine.
@cooldude7821 they are truly clueless bro smh
In terms of Nathan Rourke, I always assumed that he's there in case Tommy DeVito gets picked up by someone else when they try to put him on the practice squad. Wouldn't be shocked if a team saw him last year and say "we can put a QB3 on our 53 man roster"
Signing Allen Robinson is interesting. I would keep Robinson as the 6th WR and have a 7th WR for special teams. Rourke is just a camp body.
Slayton bout to cook with Nabers creating space
Oline as always is an issue that WILL be a problem AGAIN 😡
Evan Neal is key, need that big breakout season
The Giants need to sign a veteran CB. Adding another G and DT would be nice too.
CB, yea. DT, maybe. They already have 10 Olineman & 2 undrafted rookies. How many more do you need.
Jones, Lock, and DeVito are our QBs in that order
For how long is the question.
The offensive line should be compared to a colander that you use to drain pasta.
I also value someone like Onwenu being able to play guard and tackle at similar levels for that because yeah you want him at his best spot and one spot ideally but he gives you flexibility with who you can go after to put next to him as a guard or tackle. If you need another guy on that side you can get either position and then you can keep Onwenu at the other spot
Not an Eluemunor fan.
I think the oline will be average which is good for us. Depends on Evan Neal tho if he can actually develope.
Fans should throw a ticker tape parade if we can field an average Oline in 2024.
The o line continues to be mis managed, year after year. Yes, great point! The GM keeps making mistakes in personnel. And when the injuries happen.... qb gets knocked out AGAIN
I never wanted Golladay. Robinson was so much better
I think we should sign a swing tackle with Wallers money and let either Neal or Eluminor be RG
Eluemunor is the RG/swing tacke & Neal is the RT.
I don't get how the Giants didn't draft any OL
Wanted to go with veterans. Guessing they're trying to see what Bracillo can do with this group & figure out who's worth keeping & who's getting kicked to the curb.
Team had other needs and they signed a bunch of veterans in free agency. Pretty simple.
Justin loves to talk about numbers like Big plays and going over the top by tyrod Taylor. The problem with tyrod Taylor was he had many opportunities during the season and the 4th quarter to win games at the end and he failed. I don't know if drew lock is an upgrade But I truly believe that Tyrone Taylor proved that he can't get it done in the 4th quarter To win football football games. The giants are not good enough to blow anyone out so they'll be in close games all the time And they need a quarterback who can close the game That quarterback is not tyrod Taylor
How worried? VERY! Please tell me why the Giants are the only team that didn't draft even one player for the trenches? The vet FA signings were obviously a good approach, but not nearly enough nor adding young guys for ongoing development. I want to be optimistic, but GM Joe & staff have made it hard. WHAT SAY YOU GUYS??
Allen Robinson might have a chance to make this team because he's transitioned to playing mostly in the slot and outside of Wandale we don't have depth there. Otherwise, he likely doesn't make it. BUT at a minimum he's a very solid chance signing at this point in the offseason.
I wanted to bring back Bredeson as low key W Guard depth too...especially if we werent planning on drafting OL. Ezeudu & McKethan still need to develop. Stinnie is decent. Schlottman is a backup C. Eluemunor/Neal situation at RT will determine what final 5 looks like. If Neal loses/Eluemunor wins RT job where does Neal play? RG/LG?,etc...if Neal gets his shit together at RT Eluemunor should start at RG and Runyan at LG imo. Bricillo done more with less with the Raiders so I'm [reasonably] confident guys will get coached up & produce or be replaced. Snee hired to scout OL love that shit bro a legend! Matt Nelson = swing T 🤔
Definitely 7/10 worried like the starting line is average at best and still might be horrible and we know at least 2 guys gonna get hurt. Idk what we gonna do if someone goes down we are cooked. Would certainly be nice to have Haynes rn
Ya but can Daiboll develop Lock to be better than Daniel. I hear he showed improvement. What's his ceiling because we may have seen Daniel Ceiling and he's not worth 40 million next year. I'm not expecting much but maybe a Baker Mayfield situation where we aren't hating the situation, but could be better.
Lock & DJ are basically the same guy. Except 1 is 35 mil cheaper.
Daboll thinks he can fix Locke, is the impression I get. I agree, DJ will have a short leash. Then, either Locke gets fixed or the team looks for another QB. At least the QB will have a much better situation to work with a that point.
I really hope the O-line can be fixed next season. But right now I no faith in Evan Neal. I would have felt better if we got a right tackle in free agency and the Draft and moved Neal inside to guard.
The Giants offense definitely started to look better with Tyrod at the helm toward the end of last year, however...... one thing that Tyrod Taylor never did show as a Giant was the ability to stay on the field, which is important especially for a QB.
That's why Taylor is a backup. Can't stay healthy.
Allen Robinson might have 10% chance to make team but his knowledge for big reciever should be good for Jiles & BFW. And CBs
Tyrod also pissed two winnable games out the window.
Oline needs to get to play together. That takes time.
Idk how the giants always manage to let the wrong OL walk/not resign during the offseason recently. Thinking back to feliciano, gates, bredesen, zeitler, and id even add pugh in there this yr as well
Bryce Ford Wheaton will make it via special teams
Him or Boykin probably will for that role yeah
@@rjharrold2907BFW is basically a myth. Not sure why fans are so infatuated with an undrafted player.
@@cooldude7821 same
I love tyrod’s game but he can never stay healthy
Based on the points you make in your discussion, it wouldn’t be a shock if Daboll ultimately loses his job over his mismanagement of the offensive line.
Would be just as much if not more on Schoen
Until I see positive results, my expectations will be very low
I wished we signed tyrod instead of daniel jones after our playoff win. We should’ve known Dj’s ceiling was that eagles playoff game
Taylor is a better QB than DJ. Unfortunately, he's even more fragile.
Steve from Blue's Clues was fired when he started losing his hair. 😭 I feel like they should have turned it into a teaching moment rather than jettison the poor guy.
The Giants have had the same main problem for the last decade or more - the offensive line. They have to commit to throwing assets at this problem until they solve it once and for all or we will just continue to see bad offensive football regardless of who it the quarterback.
Stance change first
I can't agree with Bobby that Daniel Jones will be on a short leash unless he is a complete disaster. If he is healthy I think Daboll will give him every opportunity to succeed. They gave him the big contract and would love to see him redeem himself after the horrible showing of last year. It would be strange to pull DJ at the first sign of trouble but they will have a contingency plan in place..... because you have to. Go Giants!
If DJ doesn't come out the gate hot. He's gonna be on the bench sooner than later.
Tyrod went against is normal performance (ie aggressiveness throwing downfield) was, inho, him trying to show what he can do to take the starting job or for his next contract. The difference between him and DJ is he let the WRs make plays. Same as DJ his first few years. His downfield passing numbers were good his first few years. You guys mentioned it in plenty of vids his first few years and questioned why they didnt push the ball downfield more. I hate Kafka, and as far as im concerned, Schoen hasnt shown hes the man, at least not yet. Where are the homeruns hes hit on? This regime gets the benefit of the doubt for absolutely no reason at all.
DJ can't push the ball down field & simultaneously keep the turnovers to a minimum.
I think Eluemenor will end up starting at RT ........ UNLESS Evan Neal has a really strong camp. Bricillo knows what Eluemenor can do but has to evaluate Neal for himself.
How come Taylor and Devito could win some games with the O-line, but Danny Dimes?
When Jones was playing the oline combined had 38 pff rating. By then end of the season they were around 65. The oline play improved throughout the season. It was easy to see the oline was much worse in the beginning of the season.
@@knickingaround7810 it's also easy to see dimes has a hard time reading defenses
@@mergspvy ok. I wasn’t commenting about that but 👍
@@knickingaround7810 You answered the question yourself. The only significant change in the O-line was WHO WAS BEHIND THE CENTER
Not drafting one of those guards in the 3rd round was so dumb. I think the starting OL should be Thomas-Jermaine-JMS-Runyan-Neal
I’m over throwing 21 year old in there to play a grown man’s position. We grabbed 3 linemen in FA were good
Agreed. Would’ve been pretty happy with the draft had we snagged Beebe or Haynes.
@@khawarsiddiqui341They should've
Naw we got sum OL in FA but we will see by week 6
Idk lots of other holes to fill they attacked that position in FA we will be fine.

Still would like to see more of BFW & less of Allen Robinson.
ngl I think Ayir Asante has some potential 2
I think BFW hands are a concern. He catches with his body a lot
@@applesauceJoe2332 BFW was expected to contribute on special teams in 23 according to Schoen. So I see BFW being able to do more things .
This past draft had one of the most deep OL players available, and Giants draft none.
Slayton will be traded to Chiefs for 3d round pick before the season starts
First
I’m done projecting anyone the Giants add being any good, at least right away. Coaches, players, rookies, or vet FAs- they have to actually prove what they can do.
That’s why the Burns trade didn’t hype me up all that much, I need to see him pressure the QB consistently while wearing the NY for me to buy in.
Why I won’t believe the new Oline coach will suddenly “fix” Neal until he actually plays serviceably at RT.
Why I won’t even call Nabers a number 1 WR until I actually see him get open, catch passes, score TDs, & not turn into a locker room cancer when the team can’t win games or he doesn’t get his expected production.
This team doesn’t deserve much blind faith.
Bench Neal and start eluemenor. Neal has been terrible for 2 seasons. Make him earn the starting position
I really don't get why Hodgins gets no love. Big target, balled out when we had no one else two years ago, didn't get much of a run last year but performed when asked, and young. Slayton isn't going anywhere b/c arguably the only WR on the roster clearly better than him is Nabers and he's a rookie. On the OL we signed a bunch of journeyman vets and no studs. Thomas hasn't stayed healthy, Runyan is a LG who can pass block but his run blocking isn't good, the jury is still out on C, who is the RG and Eleumunor better be at RT when the season starts b/c Neal doesn't look like he can play there. We can't even field a good starting 5 so I don't even want to talk about "depth." On D I'm very concerned about the DL b/c after Dex there's very little. We won't miss Tyrod b/c he can't stay on the field.
Drew Lock is relatively young still with some actual upside…he probably ends up being a big nothing burger but that’s why you only sign him for 1 year. If he works out then great, you pay him..if not then you dump him and try again with somebody else next year
Let’s not forget tyrod had the biggest bone head play of the season and seriously costed us vs the bills. Maybe the DJ interception vs Seattle was worse. those big time throws by Tyrod or second half comeback vs cardinals by DJ mean nothing.
Serious concerns about Shoen, Dabol, and Mara after drafting a wr @6. Is DJ suppose to throw to this dude from his back? Insane. One of the worst OL units in the league for the last decade and we draft a wr in the top 10!?! So stupid. I’m nearly over this franchise
Why on Gods good earth woukd we want slayton to be traded for scraps?
How can you in any way rate and compare any QB playing behind that pathetic line. Hey boss, lets rate these car tires as they all run over some spike strips... Owens needs to stay in the event that JMS goes down, bring back Nick Gates to plug and play at either guard and or center. I want versitility in all of my backfield, CB SS FS N and D backs. Gimme 3 guys in the middle who can push the line of Scrimmage backwards. Mark Bavaro, Kevin Boss and Bear Pascoe were the epitomy of a NYG TE. I was never enamored with Shocky. Finally I just want to mention that a guy who was cut from the camp rosters of 2 different teams 3 times is likely not the go to for high value opinion.
Stop living in the past. It's 2024.
Same crap different toilet. 🚽
Let's see 14 seasons of really bad OL play. Signed 2 starters and Evan Neal is still the RT. PASSED on Beebe and Christian Haynes so their is no real youthful talent
Where has youthful talent gotten us.
Don’t waste segments on drew lock he is not going to start you guys know better come on
Don't be so sure.
