I'm not sure why Honda replaced the White Shadow Phantom with the ugly green one. It also upsets me that there isn't an option to upgrade the Phantom to have ABS, when the Aero has ABS.
That fairing/windshield looks great. If I get a Phantom, I would consider it, and some Viking luggage....👍😺
One comment about those hand grips, I am 65 and still live with a hernia from the hand grip of a dirt bike hitting me in the abdomen during a crash when I was about 16. If I had those spear shaped handgrips on that bike during that crash, I don't think I'd be alive today.
That said, I love my Shadow! Be safe.

They need to come back with kick start double seat. I’ve been riding and racing for 60 yrs . Get on a big Harley or boss hog you’ll appreciate the Honda. I believe there’s more videos on this 750 than Harley videos.

I just installed the Vanes & Hines Shortshots in black to my 2012 Shadow Phantom. Those pipes make a huge difference to the sound of the bike.

I have the same year bike color and all. My only gripe is the chrome pipes. Im gonna have a set of Vance and Hines put on in matte black.

They were $600 I believe. I added the cobra air intake and the cobra fi2000 fuel controller

Highly recommend Cobra Streetrod Slashdowns for new exhaust. It's significantly louder but man they look so good. I am about to do viking bags on mine pretty soon

Vance and Hines shortshots. Added them to mine and love them. But if you do that get earplugs otherwise you will have ringing ears.

@@Josephhyuga Thanks, man! Funny, just yesterday I bought bags from Viking *precisely* because they included the support bars (as you said). Those damned things often cost as much as the bags, which makes absolutely NO sense. I'll post you a pic once I get them installed. Thanks for your reply and hope you keep making videos!

Great bike all around is getting to top speed can sometimes take a bit. But great bike
Agree with top speed, but it has never bothered me as it's not that type of bike (I have a K1300s as well). Awesome bike. Some things that may annoy others; No fuel indicator, no gear indicator, no rev counter, no ABS and rear drum brake...on the flip side, pure riding!

can you talk more about how much of a difference the wind shield did for your ride quality. is it a big difference?
Yes absolutely. With out having to constantly lean forward to fight the wind the wind shield allows for my to sit more upright and comfortable in my seat which has made the ride quality more fun and relaxing.
@@Josephhyuga omg yesss lol I just started riding and yeah I thought the windshield looks better off the bike but I put it back on after I felt like I was gonna fly off without it 😂

Dont look that way, but depending on how your front fairing bars are it just might work on that bike! you can talk to memphis shades and they will tell you!.

I'm trying to decide between the Honda Shadow Phantom and the Aero . I'm 72 and have shorter legs so I need low seat height.
Pick the bike and color u want they boy ride low. I'm a short guy myself, lol
I have a phantom and I'm 6'2" and its almost too low. I doubt you'll find a production bike that sits lower than this one.
