Современные подростки слушают в основном рэпно-попсовое г0вно, причём некачественное, а дедовские старые жанры их не интересуют. Тоже самое и наоборот, когда взрослые или пожилые люди слушают хайповое молодёжное творчество (и не всегда творчество)

It’s funny. Even though I grew up with 60’s (and some 50’s) and 70’s rock and I’m that generation I realized this music was everywhere. Every variety show, commercial, TV shows, old movies, cartoons when I was growing up it was always in the background especially when I was a child. it took most of my life to appreciate it. Thanks.

I lived in Tokyo and it's by far the best jazz city I've ever visited (more than New York, Paris, Milan, even New Orleans) if you are a jazz lover and don't listen to jazz on a weekly basis in Tokyo you're missing out! Get your butt to Salt Peanuts in Ikebukuro or Cotton Club close to Tokyo Station right now!! マジでいいジャズだよ！！

In my teens, about to go to sleep ahead of a long weekend of studying for my exams next week, and I'm listening to this playlist. I couldn't care less if people think this is lame, this is somehow the most uplifting and comforting music I've heard all day. Wish I was in the 40s, honestly, it seems like life would be a daydream. From the 40s-60s big band music and watching the Dean Martin variety show, I have always been hooked on this sound.
