The more followers we gain on this channel also brings in more people who seem to have their own opinion on ladyboys and the whole LGBT community. Some of those opinions are positive, but alas, some are quite the opposite.
Today seemed like a good opportunity to bring up the whole 3rd gender topic given that my Aussie buddy here is also partnered with a male so it was an interesting discussion.
The takeaway point I was trying to get to here is that if you are planning to visit or live here in Thailand, you are going to need to adapt to the prevalence of 3rd gender people here. If you do, you will generally enjoy your time. if you don't, you will spend your time here being offended at every turn so grow up!

Excellent video. A little hard to hear it all correctly...……..to many audio reflections in the room caused many echo's . I have great respect for you both . I just discovered your vid's . I will be subscribing. Where is your shop located?
There was an Air-conditioner running and the automatic noise cancelling feature took over on the camera. I did try to fix the audio at edit time, but I'm testing through some fairly expensive gaming headphones which most people won't be using to listen with.

Did you see the couple of high view count videos on the Asian Boss CZcams channel that were talking about ladyboys? Actually very good content.
I don't watch much CZcams as I found things I watch influence my own creations and I try to stay focused on my experiences. I just looked up the channel and subscribed to it as they seem to have some great topics on there.
Cool. There is a cavalcade of crap on CZcams but Asian Boss is pretty interview and man-on-the-street focused. I quite like it.
Love this topic. I’d love to hear more about other folks in LGBT relationships in Thailand. That’s a real unfilled niche on CZcams.
I've given a lot of thought to moving in this general direction for the channel, but for now, I'll just take things a step at a time.

Her salon is still only 2 weeks old and she's making more than minimum wage so it's looking good for the future.
You are a lucky guy Warren to have such a beautyful and attractive girlfriend with such an interesting background and past. That is why she knows very well what she wants and what not. You see her special personality in every movement she does or how she helds her head, how she is overlooking or listening to the scene. Also if she is absolutely dominating the scene she helds back her person and personality as every good woman does. She always stands in the middle of the scene even when she is not visible in the picture.

She found a contact through Line and that came as a referral from one of her friends. A lot of business is conducted this way here in Thailand. She did say that the first 10 rolls of paper was 2000 baht, but i think she needed 15 all up to finish the job.

I always find it 'interesting' that Thai people are generally accepting of LB's, but their Thai ID card/government doesn't recognise the third gender. Neither is same-sex marriage allowed in Thailand. Maybe it's time for Thailand to come into the modern age!
Yes, but you are given to wonder how much external pressure there is on these issues. Things seem to be changing now though so time will tell.
I lived in Thailand. Actually, they are only open to them on the surface. The fact that many LBs end up in the red light district has a direct link with the fact that they are denied normal jobs.
You mentioned the ID card. Did you know that in Iran...yes Iran of the Governments with its theocratic leadership changing your gender is completely accepted? The Government partly pays for your sex reassignment surgery and you will get a brand new ID based on your new gender and this has been place for many years way before the West.
TonyBanderas A bit of generalising there! My experience is that acceptance is an individual thing, and ladyboys do get jobs that don't involve the sex trade. In my village they tend to lean towards hairdressing and dressmaking, but I do know one who worked in administration in an electronics assembly factory before setting up her own business. The local Tesco Lotus has a ladyboy working in store, you need get get out of Bangkok and Pattaya to see real Thai society, try coming out to Isaan.

But on this one, when you came inside, I could not understand anything you 3 were saying - and I finally gave up. Maybe individual microphones would help. Sorry, but I had to shut it off and move on. Not mad, just frustrated.
I've taken a look at the audio and I feel it is fine for this sort of production. I really don't see anyone offering to buy me some professional audio equipment so I make do with what I have.

Thanks Warren. Probably a free fix is to move the discussion to a room or area that has a lot of soft stuff. Like tapestry on the walls, plush sofa, lots of furniture, that sort of thing. Or move the discussion to the outside if the wind is not too gusty. The room you are in (in this video) with hard brick walls - has a lot of echo. Always wishing well to you and chyna.

Well i am here in Bangkok on holiday and tried to listen using my lap top, sound terrible so went out and bought some earphones because I did not bring mine with me, result still no different and could not understand a thing being said so a waste of time video. Gave up completely at 20 minutes.
I admit the volume level is down, but my gaming headphones work fine at 50% volume.

It must just be the circles you move in is all I can say. Bras seem to be very common with girls and ladyboys out here in the suburbs. Padded bras especially so with the regular girls given that they aren't really endowed. The gurls on hormones also go for the padded bras as well to give themselves more cleavage. Chanya nearly always wears a bra and if not, she has something that offers some support, but I'll just leave it at that as I'm getting a little too personal on a public forum - lol
