Our rankings are almost the same. I have Italy first, Albany second, the rest just the same.
I think it's not about not talking to your ex but the fact that when you are in a relationship or you live with someone you get used to them being around (getting up, talking a shower, making coffee, singing...) that when you break up its all gone and all you hear is silence. And it makes you miss what you used to have.
The sense is: PLEASE, I PRAY YOU, MAKE NOISE (Fài rumòre), THIS SILENCE BETWEEN ME AND YOU IS UNNATURAL

e fai rumore..questo brano parla del "rumore",per Diodato i ricordi che gli ha lasciato una compagna...ma per me il "rumore" è quello che ti lascia una persona che hai nel cuore...per me il rumore che non potevo sopportare era il continuo parlare di mio padre..lui mi criticava sempre,su tutto...ma a fin di bene..ogni cazzo di volta che ci sentivamo lui faceva tanto ma tanto "rumore"(reale...ma tanto rimaneva anche nel cuore)...ora il silenzio "innaturale" non riesco a sopportarlo...propio oggi è un mese che è salito in cielo.....mi manca quel bellissimo "rumore" che faceva,mi manca da morire........

about the video, after analyzing different interpretatons, I've come to the conclusion that when he sings "You make noise" he does it to his feminine part. the woman you see in the video is his ego and what he deeply hopes to become one day. The final reunion, after the many contact refusals is symbolizing his final choice. Orange and blue are the archaic symbols of femininity and masculinity. If you read it this way, the video will be much clearer. The final embrace embodies both colours.
I advise you to listen to the song by mahmood - rapide and annalisa - senza riserva (
but all her songs are beautiful)
She's probably not Levante. Maybe in this song Diodato refers to someone who is no longer there (dead)
The story I've heard is that the song refers not to Levante (although they were certainly in a relationship) but another woman musician who was also present at San Remo. The plot thickens as they say. :-)

There's song I would have chosen, and the songs I think might have done well.
For me Andromeda, Eden stand out as obvious choices. But I also think Ho Amato Tutto would've be a great entry. Viceversa has grown on me. Listening to the studio track, Musica...scompare would have been a solid entry, if only listening to the studio track. Or maybe if someone else sang it. I don't know how it would do but Billy Blu would've been a choice maybe.

Questo perché i portavoci delle nazioni sono imbecilli, siamo ben voluti dalle persone che vivono nei paesi che non ci votano o che ci dan pochi punteggi. Ma non votano loro. Il pubblico. Votano i portavoci delle nazioni. E a me sembra sembre che i voti siano politici per non inimicarsi le nazioni di confine poi. Peccato. Perché la musica non dovrebbe essere politica! La musica è gioia, è suono, è sentimento.
Comunque noi italiani anche se non vinciamo rimaniamo nel cuore e nell'anima, basti vedere che bei commenti lasciano sotto le canzoni come occidentalis karma e grande amore per capire che se ci votassero le persone vinceremmo almeno una volta.

It's nice that Albania is finally back singing in albanian, but the melody... I don't know... it sounds so average, impersonal, generic, noisy wanna-be-american tune.. perhaps the ears of italians are too spoiled?
