Kmarts in America closed down a couple years ago, and it was sad actually. It's just a part of American retail history now. It used to be really cool back in the day with a really good deli in alot of them, and it had a nice old school feel that felt home-y and almost cozy, compared to Walmart and Target and their massive stores. It was nice while it lasted here but at least you guys still have them in Australia
Another Kmart memory I cherish from my childhood is back when they had the lawn mower races in the parking lot. I was always too young to participate but man did 6yo me think that was awesome 😂
Took my partner to Kmart at the end of our second date to ensure she passed the vibe check. 3 1/2 years and a baby girl later, she now understands one doesn’t go to Kmart because one needs something from Kmart. It’s a spiritual experience and all aisles must be browsed before we can leave. It’s as much an Australian cultural icon as a Bunnings snag.
Kmart is just the best. Very affordable. Also I’m so happy you’re back Kel! pls do more of these vlog style vids cause they are just so interesting to watch. I could watch an hour long vid of yours!❤️❤️
We had K-Mart in the US while we were growing up in the 90s but they were all gone by the early 2000s.... I loved going with my Mom and buying makeup, beach towels for the summer, back-to-school clothes, platform sandals! Loved K-Mart!

i live in the england but i'm half australian and i go to australia every summer to visit my friends and family there and my family and i usually stay there for quite a long time and going to kmart is always so fun and nostalgic since we don't have that in england and we always go there loads when we're in australia i just love it so much hahah this is probably one of my favourite videos ever and it's also relaxing i love it
