To turn it off you dont have to pull the trigger again. You just move the one switch sideways.

...Just finished watching...IMPRESSIVE! I was wondering that if you have used this iron in heavy-duty applications such as soldering very large Cu wire, connectors, etc. if it gets plenty hot enough for this, and how the tips hold out. Do you get enough usage per refill?
I will look at the specs.
THIS VIDEO GAVE ME THE IDEA OF TRYING BATTERY POWER ON MY TS-100 IRON (it's DC-powered)!!
    THANKS MUCH!!!

      Hi friend!
Thanks a lot for watching, and I am glad you found the video useful.
      👍👍
Actually, I have been using this iron a lot lately because my solder station broke down. It works really well, and how long each refill last depends on your setting. At full blast, each refill only lasts a few minutes. The good thing is that you can fill the refill butane can for less than $2 at your local Walmart.
The tips are quite durable as well. It's just this there is a thermal relief hole on the side that you have to be mindful of because burn your hand or parts - if you are not paying attention.
