4-Year-Old Fires Gun in McDonald’s Parking Lot: Police

- Police in Utah had shots fired towards them by a 4-year-old. Unified Police Department of Greater Salt Lake released footage of a February 2022 arrest that took place in a McDonald’s parking lot. As the man was placed in handcuffs, shots rang out. Police say the shooter was a 4-year-old child sitting inside the father’s car with a 3-year-old sibling. The police report says the child told officers, “I grabbed my dad’s gun and tried to shoot the police so he could be free and do what he wanted.”

Every child deserves a parent, but not every parent deserves a child
That father is a complete failure. You've already taught your four year old to solve his problems with deadly force! Then you leave a loaded gun where a 3 and 4 year old had access to it.
And taught how to use. And when to use it. Clearly conversations that this so called father was having with his kids. Sick.
Right? the kid failed to hit the cops.....need better training
Cops failed too. The call that came in said he has a gun as soon as it isn’t found on him, they should have looked in the car. They would have seen that this jackass left it out in reach of his kids.
Plus, he was feeding them MacDonald's.
To be fair, it was not his call to leave the gun there. The police would 100% have shot him if he had reached for it to remove it from the vehicle (as they should, because he's already assailed someone with a deadly weapon once that day), which means he HAD to leave it there unless he lied about having it which is another crime altogether that I didn't hear them state was within his charges.

This is not something kids do on their own, it had to be the dad teaching him to do this, horrible.
It’s crazy how this kid clearly stated what he was trying to do and why.
thanks to the stupid parent who taught there child what to do in this situation kid could of easily been killed but I'm sure the father does not care
That he is even putting that kind of reasoning together in front of strangers in a tense situation makes me wonder how the kid's mind is working.
It’s crazy how we still trust mainstream media or police reports? Crazy incident but the 4 year old was “quoted”
@@Kalvin5 i wouldn’t be suprised if the father is training him as his “sidekick”
It clearly shows that the child is still not fully tainted. He/she learnt the wrong things from the parents but the child like innocence is still there.
"We don't have a gun problem"
The child may not have been "taught" at all but instead "learned" by watching the Father's behavior.
Everyone keeps saying the kids were taught that behavior to “save daddy” and what makes it worse is he knows damn well if a cop is getting shot at they would shoot back so risking his children so he has a chance at running (probably would still be caught) what a disgusting thing to do and I hope those kids can live with someone else and reverse that mindset
If you’re in the fast food industry, GET OUT NOW. It isn’t what it used to be anymore, it isn’t just a lack of respect they straight up don’t value your life whatsoever. There’s tons of opportunities out there not in customer service, go find one before it’s too late.
It wont stop at fast food. Cant be a banker, gas station attendant, uber driver, taxi driver, donut shop owner, it dont matter what you do. These people have no value for any life and only want to take what they want. Its time we remove people like this from society indefinitely. And not by keeping them alive in a cage.
Now I've heard everything. The kid is lucky, everyone is lucky no one died.
What the kid said showed his goals. I don't know if his father taught him to do it or not, either way that kid needs disciplinary actions.
