There's primers that can hide details like those lines on the new build. Mr. Hobby 1000 should do the trick. Just incase your OCD gets the better of you, lol.
Man, I used a fine white surface primer, but still. Oh well, next time… this one’s painted and ready to go. Thanks for the tip though!

Appreciate that. For the foams, I just start with a full one on the big tires. Smaller tires I usually cut them a bit smaller width. I keep S, M, & Firms on hand for different weight vehicles. Also may depend on how soft the tire rubber is. I mount up the stock foam a lot of times to have a baseline to compare with. It’s not a exact science at this scale… pretty cheap and easy method to experiment. FYI, RPP is still selling Lil Nova Micros for $4. Amain jacked up the price a couple bucks. Cheers!

Thanks for hunting brother. Looking for more trx4m specific wheels for sure. The samix ones are nice and I just got the white wagon style Beadlocks just scared they might be pizza cutter wheels on the lip. Wondering if you can tune with aluminum inner rings in back with the brass up front? 🦃🤙🍻
Well, you know me, love my wheels and tires. I just saw the Injora brass rings for the TRX4M tires. They show that with a wagon wheel. Assume that's the setup you're trying? I'm picking up just the brass rings to see if they work in these Amazon vintage wheels. Absolutely love the size of the tire, absolutely hate JConcepts for that bead!
Thanks for this informative vid. Love your content. So, I see you said that jconcepts shot themselves in the foot. Well, before watching this vid I tried to mount my ruptures to injora rims. No dice. So, what wheels will work with JC? Treal, I see. What else?
Those JC 57s are the only TRX4M specific tire beads. I’ve had no issues mounting up the other JC tires to 1.0s. I have all the other JC tires mounted to steelies, DJCrawler wheels, Ktech RC wheels, & Treal Type Bs.
