I personally would have given the award to Barkov as he was largely responsible for the opponent teams best players being irrelevant for the whole playoff run and i believe the award should always go to a member of the winning team

Bob had 3 bad games through the whole playoffs. It just happens that is was in the finals. Bob was unbelievable in 4 of the 7 games of the finals. Bob and Connor were both deserving. I'm fine with either winning the Conn Smythe. Also no issue with him not coming back out. Connor is legendary. His Cups are coming. 👍🏒👍🍻
McDavid had two good games, Bobowski had four and stood on his head at least a dozen times to make saves. Yes I’m a Panthers fan however the NHL caved on this one only because McDavid got one more point to beat Gretzky’s long-standing record
What Barkov did against Kuch, Pasta the Bread man AND McJesus for 4 of the 7 games is why he should have won MVP……… oh, and he lead the winning team in points as well
Exactly...not only did Edmonton have to face tougher goalies, they played in the tougher conference for sure. They faced 3 Vezina calibre goalies in Talbot, Oettinger and some guy named Bob whom they beat so bad he got pulled.

Only oiler should have been considered and that is Hyman. But of course that wouldn't have gone over well. Florida is the only player that actually deserved to win it.
