Miss that old time when you need to eagle eye which is target
The god damn “eagle vision” in Valhalla literally can’t highlight anymore. It’s not even capable of the main thing eagle vision was used for.
@@Nara.Shikamaru I think that's better. It makes the game less easy and more immersive. It's no fun when the game plays itself.
@@IndraD Yeah but it’s a pain in the ass when you’ve got large battles and can’t find the god damn target. Imagine if couldn’t find Pitcairn in aciii. Or in unity if you couldn’t find targets in the crowd because there were so many people. It works better in Valhalla than it would in other ac games but it shouldn’t be a permanent change. Like if we had to go into a large scale battle in the Japan game and we can’t find a target, it’s going to be a bitch. The worst part is that when you have large scale battles like in Valhalla’s fort battles, and all the regular enemies respawn infinitely, you can’t even highlight the target with Odin sight until the bastard’s like 10 feet away (that’s hyperbole, it’s more like 50 feet but still).
@@Nara.Shikamaru there was a time when eagle vision was OP because we could highlight all enemies and see them through walls
@@samgyeopsal569 It was op, but they most they should’ve done was limit the range or limit the time that targets stay highlighted. But to make it completely impossible to actually TARGET your targets bruh. I do believe that it got too easy in some of the older games, especially Unity and Syndicate, where you could highlight a target through an area the size of about six city blocks, but they should’ve scaled it back instead of eliminating it.

The hunter abilities are so underrated imo. This is a very clever way to use them. I perder to do it the old school way with whistles and draw the enemy towards me for the assassination finish. Thanks for the idea will save me some time and get me trophies I hope
Underated ? Nah man I just don't use hunter abilities at first bc i rarely use bow and arrow, I mainly use mellee

Level 64 mastery here, my fav combo is the rush assassin and the call to arms, they work in combo perfectly
Did you make it to 99 yet? Such a great game did you know there is a shop hidden up in the mountains that you can upgrade your weapons and armor perks can't change them but can make them stronger
Rush assassinate + hero strike also works well with assassin damage boost, basically you can one shot the mercenaries

I like how i always find someone playing the game differently. Some stealth some like legolas and some like an unstobable spartan warrior
I'm not even gonna lie to you all the rpg games looks SO GODDAMN FUN BRO idc what anyone says it just looks so damn fun to play
Its fun specifically this game however if ur unaware this game in particular has a hudge curve after u upgrade ur spear, so it gets tough quick is what im trying to say, and usualy ur getting bum fucked by a bunch of enemies and mercenaries aside from that the story is very interesting to say the least

I just have 3 different sets Warrior Assasin and Hunter, each designed to maximize Crit Damage and ensure 1 hit kill for Assasin and Hunter, the warrior build is to maximize survivalability when I felt like storming in and wreak havoc or escape a botched one hit kill

I always try to not kill the leader with his minions aside, what a pain in the ass is fighting 10 guys and add 2 high lvl mercenaries and their animals to that.

When I use archery it is never doing as much damage as it's allegedly supposed to.

Might be doing something wrong, no offense. My stealth arrow isn't maxed and my fire does 100K base DMG at night. No crits. By stealth, I mean the ability that lets you zoom in as if we had predator bows back, that one.
u can use crit chance to boost n crit damage engraving to do that. with predator skill, i can attain 2mil dmg.
Made a build similar to a famous youtuber's and its basically Glass Canon. I can die easily but i can kill things before they even get to me. Its also a Warrior build that is capable of assissinating anything and the hunter dmg is basically Warrior dmg which is devastating with full Crit chance and hiugh Crit dmg. one of the weapons i use for it is Hepahsitos Axe coz it has incredible Engraving plus and Engraving from Korfu for even more dmg.
Irl doesent matter how strong and big you are , an arrow that penetrated the skull instantly kills

I thought you were going to lure them up to the brazier, and light them up. It's a one hit kill weapon in game. I always use it to fort commander when i'm not in the mood fighting. Just lure them up there by shooting at them, i always make sure they don't see me but knows where the arrows came from. Hide on the ledge, when they near the brazier shoot a fire arrow at it, it'll explode to their faces

I can't imagine playing assassin's creed odyssey all the way to level 50, I stopped at level 19 and just moved onto assassin's Creed 3
I had the very bad judgement of deciding to 100% every ac game and have over 200hrs in odyssey, I am level 71 and even though I only had fun the for the first 40 hours and small glimpses of it every now and then, I can't quit because on how much time I already put in.

@@elbarto9453 I do play the game, and my bow can 1 hit a level 99 normal enemy with a headshot on the hardest difficulty and can 1 shot polemarch/bounty hunters with devastating shot, you've probably just played though the story using only melee and never made a proper build so your arrows probs hit like pin pricks.

Theres literally a whole assassin skill tree, and if youre talking about story wise the hidden ones *are* the assassins.

Assassin’s Creed stopped being about assassins when Ubisoft decided RPG was the way to go with the series.

Off topic I like that kassandra and Evior female are Canon. In my head it's like kassamdra was lost and hidden from history so her family recognizing her as a full spartan and training could be lost to history.
Also much of what we know of vikings comes from those that were raided by them. There is no diffitive proof they didn't have female raiders. Their myths usually depicte females pretty much as capable as men and there are very prominent female warriors in their mythology. When compared to cultures and myths of the past who are similar it isn't too far a stretch to think evior could have been female.
This game is insulting to assassins creed lol
