@6:12, At 5yrs old his grandma took him to the most prestigious music school in Kazakhstan and he was accepted at that age!! He'd been singing with his parents since he was about 1 1/2yrs old... but in their culture the first born son is sent to be raised by the father's parents, but Dimash's mom didn't want him to go, so they moved the grandparents to their house and his grandma has said that she knew it was his passion because he would not go anywhere without his cassette tapes and his player... not even to bed! He had to have them all with him at all times! So she took him to the music school literally everyday she drove him there and picked him up even though she was in ALOT of pain with her feet he said... He adores his family and you have to see him and his little sister sing together!! So very sweet and he always looks at her with such love and affection... it's beautiful to see! Even if you watch videos of him going to his parents home, he is just like everyone else! And surprisingly shy!

We all were just as stunned when we heard him for the first time and have been riding along with him wherever he wants to take us. He reached out his hand, he pulled us all up, from whatever darkness we may have been in, he heals hearts and soothes souls, he renews hope and casts sunlight onto a sometimes dreary world. He is so dedicated, his body, mind and soul is made from music and all he ever wanted from before age 5, was to share it with us, his Dears. So he studied music, he swam laps underwater, he played soccer and took martial arts to increase stamina, to be intune with his body. And he watched Michael Jackson, Freddy Mercury and many others and he learned. He's a freakin' genius!

The best way I can describe the way he makes me feel is that he reaches inside you with his voice & raw emotions to actually sing & he touches your soul. I remember discovering Dimash & going down that rabbit hole he brought me to tears many, many times like no artist has ever done. Enjoy your journey with Dimash & if I could suggest one thing, please read his lyrics after listening to his songs. The lyrics of his songs are just as moving as the singing. Dimash is absolutely fantastic! You did manage to elevate him much more than usual however on that last note. My friend, you are counting seconds WAY too fast! He actually held that note for 18 seconds, which in itself is absolutely INCREDIBLE! You were counting your seconds way too fast, LOL. You counted about 29 seconds, you were counting about 1.5 seconds for every second, LOL. I suggest you use a stopwatch, lol. Otherwise, great reaction!

@6:15, He's always said that his dream was to be a huge pop star in the USA and to bring his language and traditions etc to the US and the world! He's done a few "pop" style songs and he's incredible!! He even raps!! You should check out the first one he did the mv for them they're, "Screaming" and then blows your mind with "Screaming Idol-Hits"... He's done more now but that's where you should start.

I won't go through 132 comments to see if someone already wrote about it, lung capacity is useful when singing. He doesn't only practice at least three hours a day singing, he also spends a couple of hours training and working out. A lot of cardio, he swims as soon he has a swimming pool around. And if anything is LITERALLY breathtaking, it's swimming!

You used the very exact term I've been using for him for months since I first heard this "freak of nature"! He is the best voice in the world at this point. This song is huge to me cuz I am so into Chinese dramas with the ancient periods of martial arts and dynasties, etc and this song fits right into that style of drama to be a soundtrack! And with Dimash's acting abilities, I can see him being a martial arts master/warrior in one of those dramas.
His "Be With Me" (*an MJ vibe with the rap in his language) and "Love Of Tired Swans" show his dramatic flair. FYI: He practices his breath control underwater. Anyway loved ur reaction and the funny parts made me laugh; the calculations and Poo, etc. lol
